Much better sound quality than others used; Would be better if buttons had only one function each
I have multiple white noise sound machines and what sets the Foxfine White Noise Sound Machine apart from the others is that it has much better sound quality and clarity. In addition, the selection and variation of sounds is better too. While some others just have generic lullabies, this one has soothing arrangements that sound like they were done with a harp or guitar. Sound more like adult music rather than a baby’s lullaby. Also, some other sound machines will have very repetitious sounds that are more annoying than relaxing. Although there are a couple of those with this product too, the repetitiveness is less obvious except for one that just sounds like a woman saying shhhh over and over. Not a fan of that one, but I like many of the other ones, especially the music ones.One area that this sound machine could be improved is that some of the buttons have multiple functions. For example, the on/off button for sounds also serves as the on/off button for the light too. In addition, the brightness up/down buttons also serve as the volume up/down too. It is not obvious how to switch between each function and it is not well explained in the manual either. This product could really be very much improved if it just had one function for each button. I decided to still give it 5 stars due to the above average features already mentioned, in addition to its sleek appearance and portability.

This is a terrific little sound machine
We’re very happy with this sound machine. First of all – it’s rechargeable…no batteries to buy. It’s a handy size and comes with a small wrist strap that allows you to hang it where you want it. There are 36 sounds listed – I’ll take their word for it. We tend to use the nature-based sounds when we need noise to fall asleep to. I doubt we’ll ever use the headphone jack, but I can see it may be good for some people and situations. I would prefer an easier-to-use set of controls. They’re not hard to understand, just sometimes annoying, since on a device this small, some buttons have to do double and triple duty (e.g. same button for volume up/down as for nightlight brightness up/down).We would certainly order this sound machine again.

Nice Sound Machine
I love how compact this white noise machine is, which makes it perfect for travel or small spaces. I like to use this for meditation with ocean waves, rain, or other nature sounds. I like the fact that I can use it as is or with headphones. It’s calming and works great!

Small, effective white noise — helped with fireworks
I ordered this item because my senior dog really does NOT like fireworks so I will try shutting her inside a bathroom with white noise running. For new year’s eve this year, I had her near me on the living room floor with this running, and it seemed to do the trick. I like the option to choose from a variety of sounds, and to adjust the volume accordingly. Very nice item to have on hand.

It’s compact, but not quite loud enough for me
Given its small size, it is louder than I was expecting, but unfortunately, not loud enough for someone who likes to use it to drown out noises. The light on it is more of a flashlight than a night light, and the buttons to change the light brightness are confusing, requiring multiple taps on the power button and then pushing the arrows on the other side to adjust it. Having used several different varieties of these types of devices, I’d have to say that this one has turned into a backup for my other ones and doesn’t get used at this point.

This Foxfire white noise machine is very compact. It is smaller than a hockey puck, and a lot lighter too. This device is charged via usb-c, and comes with at usb-a to usb-c cable for easy charging. Included is a comprehensive manual with easy to follow instructions. Hold down the “power” button for 3 seconds to turn on/off the sound. Press the power button to turn on/off the night light. Press the “timer” button to cycle between 30/60/90minutes/off. There are buttons to adjust the volume, and buttons to cycle through the multitude of soothing sounds that this machine makes.One thing I was happy to discover is that it will “remember” which sound you played last even after turning the machine off, so you don’t have the cycle through to find the one you liked.My biggest criticism of this white noise machine is the buttons are not easy to distinguish from each other. I wish the labeling for each button was bigger/bolder or the buttons had different colors so they would be easier to distinguish from each other. You would not want to try adjusting the settings in a dark room at night!Overall, this is a great buy and good for travel or use in your home if you want to mask other noise or just relax to soothing sounds.

As I write this review, this sound machine is selling for $30, but with the current coupon and simultaneous promotion, the price drops 50% to $15. I got one and I think it is an amazing device beyond being an already amazing deal right now. Check this out. This sound machine has 17 nature sounds (birds chirping, trickling stream, crashing ocean waves, rain falling, blowing winds, etc.) and 7 lullaby sounds/music for soothing your baby to sleep, PLUS 12 additional sounds. Oh, and the volume put out from the built-in speaker is LOUD. Of course, you can change the volume all the way down to a whisper, as well, if you need just a hint of sound, as well as anywhere in-between. Worried about falling asleep and the sound machine running til the battery is drained? No problem. The manufacturers thought of that, as well, and gave it 30/60/90-minute timers. They even added an amber night light into the face of the device. How cool is this thing, right? I am impressed by this sound machine.
