Tegu Daredevil Magnetic Wooden Block Set, 1-99 years old, 12 pieces

Great imaginative toy that is NOT made in China!
Tegu blocks are a favorite with my grandchildren (and their parents). Everyone enjoys building, and because of the magnets even the littles can make something fun. The wood is smooth, the colors are lovely and the fact that they are made responsibly in Honduras really caught this Mimi’s attention. I always buy a few sets when they are on sale, so I have them on hand for gift giving (sometimes I pull out a new set just to hear the squeals of delight). We have had them for a while and they are still like new, even with my rowdy grands and their parents. Haha BUY THESE TODAY. You will not be disappointed.

Fun for the whole family
Our kids love these tegu blocks. Yes, they are pricy but they are well made and everyone seems to like building with them (adults included). We actually purchased 2 of these sets as well as a set of tints so there would be plenty for our 3 kids. They have held up well and attach on the fridge or any other metal surface, which my kids love.I just purchased a carry case to help keep up with all the pieces as they do tend to get spread throughout our house.I think it’s important to be aware the cylinder “head” block might be a choking hazard if your child is prone to put things in their mouth and the rubber tires can be popped off of the wood wheels. Hasn’t caused any problems for us (youngest is 18 months) but I watch just to be sure.

Great toy!
This is an amazing toy. Our two year old toddler absolutely love it. It does come apart if push too hard on it, it is more of a “building” toy that not for pushing around. But it really great for fine motor skills, creativity and imagination. We definitely would buy more pieces!

Cool idea, poorly executed because the pieces don’t stay together very well!
As a helicopter pilot and Tegu block lover, I had to get this for my kids. I wanted to love it and give it 5 stars….but I just can’t.This is a great idea and a superb concept. What child doesn’t like helicopters? Plus most kids seem to REALLY enjoy having their toys perform work — picking things up, moving things, etc. I thought this would be a fun one for the kids to use, but it just barely misses the mark.The pieces just don’t stay together well enough for this to get more than 3 stars. It looks great all put together, but as soon as you try to pick it up by the wrong piece it will break apart. The natural place for a child to hold it is from the tail boom, but that’s the worst place because it falls right off. Then the child gets frustrated (or maybe that’s just my kids who get frustrated at stuff like that….) and you have to help them get it back together the right way.I want toys that my kids can play with on their own — not constantly ask me for help putting back together. I wouldn’t buy it again.

These blocks are a bit expensive but together with a bigger set I had children can use them well to make different things. A bit tricky sometimes as not all pieces stick together(depending on where the magnet is…)

Este es el mejor set de tegu que he comprado, tiene todas las piezas especiales: ruedas, hélice y lazo, además de bloques triangulares y un cilindro con carita. Por sí solo permite realizar infinidad de figuras, y si se combina con algún otro set mejor aún. Es de esos juguetes que nunca quedan archivados porque siempre hay alguien jugando con él. No se daña la pintura ni la madera con los golpes, el único cuidado que hay que tener es que no se pierdan piezas, porque sin una rueda ya perdería mucha gracia. Es un juguete caro para niños que saben cuidarlo.
