Amazing Brush for Long-Haired Pets!
Iâm so impressed with the GooCare Long-Pin Spray Brush! This is hands down the best grooming tool Iâve ever used for my long-haired cat. Not our favorite, but not bad
I was really excited for the longer bristles since I have 2 double-coated shelties. Unfortunately, it really doesn’t help with loosening the undercoat much. It’s fine for day to day brushing, but it’s a bit awkward for me to hold- not sure if it’s because I’m left handed or what the deal is. I can’t quite explain it. I have one dog who loves being brushed and one who hates it- the one who loves being brushed seems to feel meh about this. She definitely has her favorites (and will bring them to me if she really wants to be brushed). My other one who will run out the doggy door if he sees a brush in my hand seemed to tolerate this for about 2 seconds longer than typical, so I consider that I small win that means we’ll keep this around.

The cool steam doesn’t work.
I really wanted to fully use this and compare this to a similiar type brush. Sadly, since I took it out of the box and filled the water chamber the steam has not worked.The brush itself has plastic bristles which my sensitive little one seems to like better than the metal bristles. It also has a collapsible handle which helps for storing.

Cats Love the Spray!
Weâve been using this brush with the spray feature, and the cats absolutely adore it! It makes their fur soft and shiny, and the brushing becomes a soothing experience. Itâs perfect for our grooming sessions and helps reduce shedding significantly!

Broke a bristle upon testing
This brush is not great. I swiped my hand across it upon opening, and a bristle immediately broke off. I also don’t see a button to eject the hair, so I guess you have to peel it off.

The dog loves it and it captures plenty of loose hair
– I got this in hopes of capturing most of the loose hair during brushing instead of vacuuming everyday (-:- The dog loves the brush, using gentle strokes- Captures lots of loose hair and keeps on the brush for easy disposal- has the option to add water and create a mist to help capture the hair. I tried this and seemed to work fine, but not noticable better than without. I just like it without the water.

My pets love this brush!
This brush is great! I love that the bristles are soft, but stiff enough to adequately brush my cat and dog.I have a long haired cat and a short haired dog and the brush works for both of them. My cat will sit in front of my for an hour and let me brush her, and trust me, she is not a lovey type cat! I know she enjoys it.I like that the handle cat be used or retracted. It is easier for me to not use the handle on the cat, but to have the handle out on the brush for the dog.I did try the steam mode. I have mixed feelings about it. The steam is cool, so you won’t have to worry about burning your pet. It is easy to turn on and works constantly while on. I feel that it left my cats fur a bit too wet. I would like it better if I could turn it on for a quick squirt and be done.I put the brush up with water still in the tank, and it did leak all over my table. The water was easy to fill in the brush, though. I think I prefer to use it dry, though. The great thing about this brush is it’s versatility!The brush is quite reasonably priced and a generous size. My pets adore it, and that is really the biggest thing!I highly recommend this brush!
