Got this for a cat for a roadtrip and she absolutely loves it! Was a bit difficult to assemble at first with the pieces separated, but once you lay them all out and read the instructions all the way through – it made sense and assembly was straightforward. The bed arrived well packaged, quickly and undamaged. Itâs made of durable yet very lightweight and soft materials. Overall, very nice quality and well constructed. A bit of âplasticâ like smell upon opening but it airs out after a few days. Nothing off putting. Itâs larger/fluffier than I expected and there is a lot of padding. The cat loves how soft it is and the plush, warm interior. She took to it right away! Got her used to it before the car by placing it in her favorite sleeping spot. She must find it comfy and soft because she was sleeping in it the next day! The details, such as the mesh side and reflective stripe are nice. Lets the pet(s) see through without them being able to get out easily and you can see them easier too. The short leash attachment on the inside helps them stay secure too. The canvas-like exterior material is easy to clean. The high back gives it some bracing against the car seat. Straps are thick and all adjustable, which makes it easier to strap into any car seat spot. Itâs not much of a âboosterâ seat. It sits low and other than having a lot of soft padding; it doesnât have a hard lifted platform like some pet car seats do. My small dogs (whom are smaller than the cat) fit in this great as well, but they do prefer to be a little taller and have that boosted platform. This is definitely the most comfortable and squishy car pet seat Iâve encountered thus far – perfect for a cat! And itâs sturdy and rigid enough to keep any pet secure. It has a bit of lift with how thick the cushion is, but it lacks a true booster feature. Overall, great quality and value for the affordable price. The cat loves laying in it and thatâs what matters! Will update this review once she uses it on the road trip and I see how it holds up for long car ridesâ¦

Itâs not efficient
My tiny 1 pound puppy could jump out. The bottom pillow is too large for this to work. The sides are flimsy. Not a great design for driving with your puppy

We love the Gardner Pet Dog Car Seat
Having tried a few different dog car seats, I can confidently say this Gardner brand seat is one of the best. Itâs very sturdy and well-structured, giving my dog a secure space without allowing them to climb out. The seat is also well-padded and soft, making it a comfortable ride for my dogs, while still being resilient where it needs to be.A big plus is its water resistance, which is essential for any dog seat, and the roomy sizeâit actually fits both of my French Bulldogs comfortably. It works perfectly in the rear seat of my SUV, though itâs a bit snug in my Toyota Camry due to its larger size. Overall, this is a high-quality, thoughtfully designed car seat for dogs. Highly recommend for pet owners looking to make a worthwhile investment in a sturdy, spacious car seat!

Ok not perfect
This was comfortable for the Frenchie and a good size. You get what you pay for. This was the cheapest one on Amazon. The strap for the dog collar was very thin with a small clip and not substantial enough to really secure the dog. There was no way my seatbelts in the back seat would fit around the seat as the instructions show so I could only really secure it in the front passenger seat. The mesh sides snap in and with very little pressure easily unsnap so they are completely ineffective. I just left them down. Works as a travel bed and booster seat but not a âsafety â seat.
