Fabulous for the price
I usually use Lucy&Co harnesses. This is less costly looks fabulous and will get less dirty. Just got it so cannot speak to longevity but stitching is great and while I read a bad review on the buckle, it doesnât seem to be any different than store bought ones. That said my dog only weighs 7lbs so someone with a weightier dog would have to speak on pull strength. My only wish would be regular stainless steel buckles as Iâm not a fan of painted or coated buckles that wear down appearance sooner because this seems like a quality product that will last a long time.

Plastic buckle breaks easily
Loved everything about the harness and leash except that the plastic buckle snapped and broke very easily after only a month or less of use. I wish there was an option for a metal safety buckle that would allow for it to be more durable.

Exceeded my expectations
Got a size medium for my frenchie. Heâs aboit 30 pounds. Adjusted it halfway and it was a perfect fit. Nice and soft leather doesnt bother the dog. Gold metal buckles were a nice touch, wish they wouldve matched the body buckle. Looks like a nice luxury brand harness. Close to body and doesnât get in the way of clothing. I will be ordering more colors.

Best harness on Amazon
I’ve been trying to find the “right” harness for my red and white cavapoo for months. I only found one other option that matched her red and the vendor had to replace it twice because it broke, and she’s only 11 lbs. When I saw this harness in the brown leather I got excited because I knew the color was right but I wasn’t convinced it would be comfortable for her. Well, it fits perfectly, she doesn’t even notice she’s wearing it and the leather’s super soft so all around it’s much better than I had hoped. I didn’t rate its durability because I don’t know yet but I sure do hope it doesn’t break and that the metal buckles don’t rust, etc., I’m hopeful!

Flimsy Plastic Release Buckle Breaks Easily
This step-in leather harness and leash set is a nice alternative to fabric/suede options because it’s resistant to everyday stains â great for dogs like mine who don’t like anything being pulled over their head and seem to be a magnet for dirt on their daily walks. The gold metal hardware is really sturdy and the stitching is well done. I found the measurements accurate and am happy to have found a good fit for my 3 lb. Pomeranian. The metal buckles were easy to adjust and stayed put once readjusted for my dog. The plastic release buckle is a hassle simply because my dog’s hair is long, so it has a tendency to get snagged easily â I don’t fault the harness for that though.What I do have an issue with is how incredibly cheap the transparent quick release buckle is; it broke after a couple months of use. Didog sells collars with metal gold quick release buckles; I’m not sure why they wouldn’t use them for this harness too. Another unfortunate decision was to use staples for the leather loops on the adjustable straps. Besides just looking ugly â they aren’t visible when your dog is actually wearing the harness, but still â the silver staples don’t look like they’ll hold up for the long haul; the loops were already splitting apart right out of the box. Overall, I found this harness disappointing in terms of quality. While it looks really stylish, it’s not a harness I would trust because of the shoddy materials being used for critical structural components.
