Well made, lots of features
I have a seatbelt in the car for my dog, one of those that goes around the headrest. It works fine. It stays in the car all the time. I made the mistake one day of thinking that my dog could go off leash for the 10 ft from our front door to our car in the driveway, but the moment I stepped out, the mail carrier walked up the driveway. My dog bolted out and, thankfully did not bite, but barked up a storm. I felt terrible as I try to be a very conscientious dog owner.Although the car seat restraint I had always worked fine, I always wished that I didn’t have to bring a separate leash. Sometimes I forget, sometimes I don’t plan on walking the dog, but have extra time and wish I had brought it.This JETOG leash solves both of those issues. I put the leash on to walk the crazy dog 10 feet to the car, so no mail carrier or package delivery attacks, and once the dog is in the car, the seatbelt portion simply clips into the car’s seatbelt receptacle. There is enough slack that the dog can put its head out the window, but it keeps the dog from falling off the back seat if there is a quick stop. Then, if I need it, there is a full leash still attached, so no more forgetting the big leash for a quick impromptu walk. Great!The quality of this leash is actually very good. It seems to be made of thick nylon, the straps/loops are sewn in very well. The coloring is bright. There is a sewn loop near the collar of the dog for close control. The carabiner slip that attaches to the dog’s collar is quite strong and has the option to lock it closed, if need be. I’d be surprised if it could open up on its own even in the unlocked position, but it’s an extra safety. The portion between the seatbelt and the collar stretches as it has elastic within. The human end of the belt has a loop with a buckle that can be unclipped and the loop can be re-sized if you want to make it larger and put it around your waist, for example.It’s a really high-quality item that also looks quite nice. We’re using it on a small 15lb dog, but this could easily be used on a medium or large sized dog.

Good quality
This leash is good quality, and has multiple different functional ways to use it. I have both a larger dog (yellow lab) and a smaller dog (Pomsky). I would prefer to wrap this crossbody (over shoulder) than around my waist, but due to my height (5â9â) and the size of my Pomsky, it wonât work. It does work around my waist though. The waist extends quite a bit. Iâm a plus size gal, about size 18, and it fits around my waist. The hooks are strong and they screw closed to help avoid accidental detachments from collars. Thereâs a car seat buckle which I havenât tried yet but itâs a nice feature to have. This leash has 3 handles for guiding the dogs at different lengths, though the 1st one is pretty close to the collar attachment which doesnât work well with most dogs but would work well with x-large/tall dogs that you are wanting to have walk directly to your side. The shock absorbing bungees is a great feature, it takes some of the pulling/jerking away (not all) from walking my big dog, which often her minor pulling and jerking hurts my back by the end of the walk. One this I do wish this leash had was more padding in the handles. They already do have padding but Iâd prefer just a little more for extra comfort personally. The color is beautiful too btw.Overall this is a great leash, would love it in an even longer size but still glad I found it and love using it.

Nice Hands-Free Leash
This is a nice product overall, but Iâve once again managed to buy something for the wrong size dog. My dog is not largeâfar from it, actuallyâso the “Medium or Large” in the listing should have been a clear sign. Lesson learned (again).The Good:The hands-free design is fantastic, especially for reactive dogs. It lets me keep treats ready to redirect my dogâs attention without fumbling with a leash in one hand and a treat pouch in the other. The bungee absorbs some of the shock when your dog inevitably lunges at a squirrel (or a leaf, or their shadow).The padded handles are a nice touch for when you need to grab hold manually, and the reflective details are great for nighttime walks. The leash also doubles as a car seat belt, which is a clever featureâthough my dog isnât exactly filling out the backseat.The Not-So-Good:For smaller dogs, this leash feels a bit overbuilt. Itâs a bit long and heavy for my lightweight pup, making it less practical than Iâd hoped. If youâve got a medium or large dog, though, I can see this working perfectly.Bottom Line:This is a well-made leash with thoughtful features, but itâs better suited for larger dogs. If your pup is on the smaller side, you might want to look for something lighter and more proportionate.

My new favorite leash
Wow. This JETOG Heavy Duty Hands Free Dog Leash is quite impressive! First off, I think it’s beautiful. I chose the “Gradient Pink” and it’s really pretty. The pink and purples are bright and happy, I have been getting compliments from neighbors and at the dog park.The other thing that i’m impressed by with this leash is all the different features. I like the bungee part of it because it does help when i’m using it hands free and my pup takes off suddenly, pulling at my waist. I’ve noticed the bungee portion absorbs some of that shock from my waist. The hook portion is super heavy duty, incredibly sturdy and features a little screw to keep it locked. I can see how this would be troublesome if you’ve got a wiggly pup and have to get them leashed quickly, but it only takes me a few more seconds to screw it and the peace of mind is worth it. There is also a handle on the leash near the hook for grabbing your pup and this has come in very handy when my guy gets too excited at seeing the dog park gates or when he wants to jump on someone.Finally, the seat belt function!!! No more having to have a separate leash and seatbelt, this has become my go-to leash! I can go straight from car to walk with the same leash and I that alone makes this my favorite leash. I highly recommend!
