Very nice!
I love the quality of the lock. I always take my dog out and we have a lot of cats around the neighborhood and I have to keep locking and unlocking every time we see one (my dog goes crazy when he sees a cat) and the fact that the lock still works well has me surprised. The strap is very thick which I also love because I know it wonât break.

Excellent Retractable Leash!
The 2 retractable leashes we had for our other 2 dogs werenât available, this looked like them with a great price so I got it. That it came with Travel bowl Waste bag dispenser & 15 bags was just Bonus. Our new 20 pounder is a runner and a zoomer so sheâs be actively testing the rope strength and connection at the end. Our other 2 did this but not with the constant repetition, bang at the end, turn and run the other direction, band at the end, repeat many times, sheâs full of energy. Easy to use, I can lock her up close to me easily and unlock her. This dog is a great test dog for this leash, itâs Dixie approved, works flawlessly, for the price and the other things with it, we have in the car, you canât go wrong.

Just like Pictured
The leash and accessories came in a nice box and was packed in perfect so nothing got damaged. The leash seem well made and I love that the color looks like the picture. Itâs awesome it comes with a folding bowl and poop bags. It was a nice touch with a reflective light so when I am walking my dog and she gets off the leash I can see her. Everything about it seem to high quality and reasonably priced.

Unforeseen downside
The whole set is great. The collapsible bowl and the poop bag holder are standard. No problems, nice bonus. The little clip thing works, but we donât use it. The leash howeverâ¦To start, itâs exactly what I wanted. Great length, the turquoise color is as pictured, and the locking mechanism is helpful. I didnât expect the length of leash to be aâ¦ribbon. A strong one for sure, but Iâve had smaller retractable leashes that are more rope/cord material. So whatâs the problem with the strong ribbon you might be asking? Well, I live outside Portland, Oregon, where it rains 10 months out of the year and that ribbon, understandably, got wet. The dog goes outside, the ribbon gets wet, the dog comes back inside and the ribbon gets coiled back up into the leash. The unforeseen downside is that ribbon has done exactly what fabric does when it gets wet and then wadded up without drying. Like laundry left in the washing machine too long. It now has a sour moldy stink to it.Sure, I suppose the solution is to just thoroughly clean and dry the leaves ribbon and then leave it extended all the time so that it dries in between rain soaked outings, but that defeats the whole purpose of a retractable leash.Other than this, it works great and the quality is wonderful. I suppose if you lived somewhere dry you would have no problems at all.

This is a well made and well packaged retractable leash. This is the second one I have bought because I like it so much. I have had compliments on how nice it is. What I like most, is the locking mechanism for the leash. It’s so easy to use and well made. I have had other retractable leashes and end up having problems with the locking mechanism part.What I also like is the collapsible bowl and the poop holder. They too are well made. I feel this is a very good value for everything you get. None of it feels cheaply made. It seems as though care and attention to detail went into this product. I say this because their packaging is so well done and cute. This is why I included the pictures. I believe this company truly cares about their product and what they put into it. I love supporting companies like this.No need to look at any other retractable leashes this is the one to have and that you will be happy with.

Best Dog Leash Yet and Fantastic Customer Service
Our little maltipoo seems to be able to chew through most any leash in a matter of seconds. She gets excited for her walks and always chews the leash where she can grab it. This is the first of many leashes we have had that can hold up to her abuse. It’s a great leash. I also really like how easy this leash retracts and how well the button to hold / release it works. I’m super happy with this leash.After about 10 months of our little crazy pup running in and out for this leash to be worked to the bone the inner spring failed. I didn’t think much of it as these things wear out. Still, I thought I would reach out to the company if they would replace it. I sent a picture of the leash and a copy of my Amazon invoice along with my inquiry. They were both super quick to respond and super quick to send me out an entirely new leash kit for free. Wow! I love it! The leash is larger than expected. It’s very well made and the colors are great. If your dog tries to walk themselves, this leash may not work. My son used it on our Pitsky. He knicked a place in it. I bought it for our smaller dogs. Love the collapsible water bowl and poop bag holder. The lights work but we haven’t put them on the dogs yet. I purchased another one after receiving this one. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a leash. All the other items just make the purchase better! Thanks for a good quality item.

I’ve had other products like this in the past, for my other dogs, I had a clear expectation in my mind when I ordered this item, but I was very quickly impressed when I tested it for the first time. This is unlike any other I’ve used before, it’s a lot more sturdy, I can tell it will last much longer and in better condition than any other I use for my other dogs.Beside that, I was very impressed with the package and presentation, and the other things included with my order. The collapsible plate will be very useful when we go backpacking, the bags holder is super cute, and the light for his collar is even better. I am very pleased and impressed with this product, and would definitely buy more products from Ruff ‘N Ruffus

I have been using this leash for two weeks.My dog is 80 lbs of excitement. I need to be able to keep him close to me when necessary and give him slack when I can. The lock mechanism is super easy to manage and the leash retracts quickly and smoothly.So far, the unit seems very solid, but only time will tell if the retraction spring and lock stay strong. I have left the DURABILITY rating blank since I’m not yet able to make that judgement.The accompanying items are a bonus – the bag carrier dispenses bags easily, the collapable bowl is convenient, and the night-light a good safety feature.So far, I am very happy with this purchase.
