Big dog approved!
Having a giant breed, I always try to wait to get a review on any product I buy for my big guy for at least 6 months (if it last) for a honest review.First off, It says in the manual instruction to place the cover inside and then place the boards into their slots. Depending on your vehicle, It may be easier to place the boards inside of the cover prior to putting it inside your vehicle.For comfortability it could be better, But that’s the trade off for having such a higher amount of protection and stabibility for a car seat protector. If my guy wants to stand and put his face in the front of the car, he can. And not worried about fallingdown into the space for legs, lots of support. And if I have to move and Carry a lot of things in my car, It works well to use it. What i’ve done is i’ve thrown a few blankets to lay down for more comfort.It is extremely easy to clean. You can either remove it and vacuum it, You can use a shop Vacuum, or the vacuums at the car wash. Either way, very easy, and keeps your car cleaner.Overall, I find this to be a very good buy and worth every penny.

Game Changer- If Youâre Considering it, Just do it and Buy!
I have always purchased the dog hammocks without the wooden boards underneath. Iâve probably gone through 3 or 4 of them since adopting my 75lb dog. I always considered one such as this but they were always a little too pricey. I finally bit tue bullet and Iâm so glad I did. It is so much more secure and fits extremely well in my 2020 RAV4. We just went on a 12 hour roadtrip and my dog was extremely comfortable the whole time. He wasnât pacing. I think the mesh front really helps with anxiety since he can lay there and see me. Plus it helps keep him cool since the air can hit him no problem. The boards feel sturdy and so far, I havenât had any issues with the buckles. I really like the two pockets as well to hold his leash, dog bowl, etc. Awesome product!

Works and Easy to install and clean
This easily supports our 53 pound dog and gives him plenty of room to lie down. Spills can be wiped up if caught right away. Hair comes up easily. The screen area in the front allows the AC to blow back on our pup. The only downside is that it is a little slippery. If he is standing when we take a curve a little fast, he slides. That would be why it cleans up easily however, so maybe not a negative.

Doesn’t fit a full sized truck back seat
We traveled 1800 miles round trip. It worked well for us. The netting allows the pup to see us and feel like she is part of the family but keeps her in the back seat. She and we like the fact that it extends the seat. We also liked that we could store things underneath and she couldn’t get into it… Like her dog food, bowls, treats, and our snacks. The only real drawback was it was too short for the truck width of the seat, 6-8 inches. We have a Chevy 3500. I was able to make it work well enough. It has the panels to protect the doors so they cover the seat, we just can’t use them to protect the doors. In our case, our dog is a good traveler and it’s not a concern.

A godsend for our 62 lb boarder collie in a Model X
Our Tesla Model X has two captain’s chairs in the middle row. I covered them individually, but our poor dog spent a very long drive sitting up on one seat and panting the entire time. While at our destination I purchased this seat extender. It fit our car nicely, creating a floor between the front and back seats and across the empty space between the two middle row seats. Now the dog has the entire area to walk around. She spent the return trip lying down and looking at us through the mesh, very relaxed. During sudden stops she could brace against the front seats instead of falling off the normal back seat. What a fantastic idea! The dog felt confident walking anywhere on the extender, but it does bend if I climb onto it, so just enough strength for a large dog.We also had the chance to fold it up a bit to free one of the middle row seats for an extra human passenger. That worked just fine.

Solved all of my dog transporting problems!
Travel with a Collie and a Corgi and with my previous back seat dog cover my Corgi would jump onto the floor of the backseat and not be able to get back onto the seat or jump into the front seats and we would wrestle her to the back with great difficulty. With this cover she cannot jump down onto the floor nor get into the front seats. The firm flooring of the new cover extends to the back of the front seats which gives them much more room and has a netted barrier to prevent her from jumping into the front seats. There are also side panels which zip up and protect the door and windows. (Collie adapted well to both seats) Great product!

Great product. Bought for the back seat of my silverado, to use while camping. Travel with 3 70lbs dogs, and it stood up to the weight. Being able to keep the floor space open is a huge benefit. Highly recommend.
