Solidly Made, Dogs Love It
This sheepskin tug has been a great training reward for my dogs. We normally use a French linen tug of similar make (which they like just fine) but the added smell of sheep on this one seems to really delight them.This tug does not look like it would last very long, but it has proven to be just as strong as any traditional tug I have used. My dogs are 85 pound German Shepherds who regularly do other bite work as well so they are seasoned when it comes to playing with toys like this. *I* love the long handles on this toy because it keeps my hands/fingers from accidentally getting in their mouths and they have a very defined target of where to grab. It is also small enough that I can tuck it under my arm for focused work.This toy does get gross after using it for awhile! Slobber is what it is. Just know it won’t stay pretty and fluffy for you. The dogs really don’t care.Also know that this is not a chew toy. This toy can be torn up if you allow a dog to keep it and chew on it. This is specifically a human/dog interactive toy not a give-them-an-ipad-and-they’ll-leave-me-alone type of toy (ha ha).When this tug wears out, I’ll be getting another one. It’s been great.

Been a week and it still exists.
Item came quick and was as described. So far it’s held up to several tug sessions with my pup and has yet to be destroyed. Just don’t let the dog play with it as a chew toy on his own and it should last a while for you.

Broken in the first 15 minutes
My girls are moderate chewers and both Heelers (herding breeds) so they can play rough, but don’t always. They slaughtered this thing and enjoyed making a huge mess. We all laughed and then I cleaned it up – there was no bungee, just a big mess – LOL

We have a very muscular, rambunctious, and chew obsessed young Boston terrier who is in need of constant distraction and play.He is like a little tornado cutting a path of chaos through the house all day long, so multiple toys and chews are a must.Right out of the bag, this rope/tug/fuzzy toy was a huge hit.He was playing keep away and tug of war with it like this was the greatest thing ever.The only thing is our dog also really loves destroying it.Specifically, he loves pulling tufts off the shearling.We take it away when we see him start and the toy is still fluffy, despite some plucking.I would therefore still consider this durable, even though it is not indestructible.Based on our experience with this, I would recommend it for small and medium dogs as a rope toy with a lot of potential for fetch, tug of war, but also chewing and pulling on the shearling portion of the toy.Our dog also enthusiastically recommends it to all owners out there.

so good I can’t use it
Pros: my dogs loved this toy. They are very different (10-year-old bulldog mix and lab-mix puppy) and both were immediately drawn to the furry center of the toy. It attracted and fascinated them like no other inedible toy I’ve ever given them. The handle is also really nice — the webbing is smooth and the inside of the handles are slightly padded, making them extra comfortable for humans to tug with.Cons: The fur was dangerously enticing for my dogs. Even while closely watching my puppy as she played with it, she managed to swallow enough fur to gag up a hairball while playing and then again hours later. The older dog also pulled a lot of fluff out, although I don’t know if she swallowed any. The main challenge with this product is that you can see fur if the dog pulls it out and discards it, but the toy is so fluffy that if fur is swallowed or otherwise out of sight, you can’t tell from looking at the toy that anything is missing.I’m disappointed, given how much two dogs loved this toy and the fact that it’s priced near the higher end of the range for similar products. I would not recommend this item.

Keeps my dog interested
My dog loves this tug, but I did leave him alone with it and he was pulling out chunks of the hair when I looked back. Even when we play with it he liked to grab that part and he usually has the fuzz stuck in his jowls. He really really loves it though, but I really hate the clumps of fuzz. He would play with this for hours if we let him

Really cool toy
This toy is perfect for our agility training. It has the sheepskin smell that gets my dog excited and the handles are sturdy and keep my hands out of the way.
