This toy charges so no battery! All you need is an adapter for plug. There is a turn off if you get annoyed or tired of the flapping and bird noise. My cat was on attack!! Sounds just like a real bird in distress. Even the dogs got involved. One even took off with it to their bed. lol highly recommend! Fun for all your pets.

I was lead to believe this was a chirping and flapping bird with a mouse that speaks. The bird barely makes a noise and the mouse lost his tail as soon as my cat picked it up. Definitely not worth purchasing.

Too Heavy
It’s cute, but it’s too heavy for the cats to have fun playing with it. They looked at it but wouldn’t fully play with it because it would knock them on the head, and it really was heavy due to the power system.

Not what I was expecting
While it does make a realistic chirping sound, I have to really shake it for it to chirp. My cat likes the chirping, but as soon as I put it down for him to play with it, it no longer chirps and he is not interested. I thought I was getting a chirping bird with flapping wings. Wingless do not flap. Runs by battery, but battery casing is sewn in and not accessible. No charger came with it. I will be returning this toy.

The toy is of good quality but you canât replace the battery. Once it dies it just becomes another toy that lays around until you put catnip on it to attract your cat to use it . The idea is great but you should be able to replace the battery.
