My cats love this, and they are a tough crowd to please, so anytime something is a hit with them I am very happy (as I scan the sea of un-loved and un-played with cat toys spread across the living room). I also have a “1st generation” model as well but that never really caught on because it basically goes in a circle, sure it changed direction and speed but in the end it just goes in a circle which was its fatal flaw. Not only are my cats picky but they are smart. A few nights of maybe 15 minutes of play was all the original one was worth before they turned their noses up to it. However, this new randomized version is a totally different story (so far). It truly is random and not just mechanical back and forth motion either, it varies the speed along with trajectory, sometimes even coming to a complete stop for a few seconds to give them a chance to pounce. The way it moves the laser point around is moist comparable to that of a fly, which they also love, I imagine for much the same reasons. I have noticed they’ve figured out the laser is coming out of this device and seem a little less enthralled with it but I just put it away for a night or two and they start screaming for it back. The automated on/off cycle of like 15 min on/2 hours off (or something like that) is a very nice addition too, making it just right for their little attention spans and their natural zoom/sleep/zoom/sleep cycle. Plus, the battery life is actually pretty decent. Just make sure you charge it ahead of time because it is slow to charge, like several hours. Let’s hope for a couple of years of play before the battery naturally runs down.

Cats Love it!
I have two adult cats and one 1 year old who has a lot of energy. This toy is great. Easy to set up, lightweight, quiet and all three cats love it. If I can get the older guys to move a bit and get the little one to burn off some steam, itâs a steal for 19.99! Definitely recommend, has nice features like motion speed and angle adjustments as well as motion sensor and a hibernation mode. Seems very safe and durable and would buy again!

My Cats love this!
Weâve had this laser for quite a few months now, and my cats have NOT gotten tired of it. It does a better job than I can at moving the laser around, and has several settings to suit whatever the Cats activity level is. It does need to be charged up quite often, but doesnât take too long to charge up. Super happy with this purchase, and highly recommend to keep kitties, active, happy, and prevent boredom when Iâm not home.

I like this product so much! It is very light weight, and requires minimal set up to entertain your cat. I believe it has 3 modes for the laser and each mode is different. It works as expected and the laser itself is not too bright or harmful or anything like that. It doesnât make noise when rotating and is very easy to control with the click of a button. Three Speed Settings
I have a kitten and the fastest setting is just a little too exhausting for him to keep up with. But at the lowest setting, he seems to be able to find more enjoyment in chasing the laser dot. The dot is bright and moves in a very strategic fashion that seems to intrigue my kitten. It is well constructed and even after accidentally knocking it over two times onto a hard surface floor it still functions as good as new! The only drawback is due to the problem of not having an actual physical object, that my kitten can feel in his paws, after about fifteen minutes he kind of gives up. But the next day he will chase that red dot once again renewed interest. I am happy with my purchase.

My cats love it
Excellent toy! Only deducted a star because I wish the batteries lasted longer. They only last about a day/ day and a half before needing to be charged again, but still worth it for my cats. They love it and it keeps them entertained through the night, too. Laser is also pretty bright even during the day with the windows open, which is nice for my cross-eyed kitty. This has been my go to when I need to distract them, as well 🙂
