Good Toy, Great art element!
The wooden cubes are obviously a good toy for children but I have a different use for them. I use them as an art element in three-dimensional collage design. The cubes are precision-cut to fit together nicely. They adhere to foam board surfaces easily with the use of white glue and they can be painted over with acrylic or oil paints. This is a good product for artists and children alike! When I run out of my current supply, I will definitely order more!

Really excellent toy!!!
This is the best toy ever!!! The plain and simple old fashioned wooden square blocks, nice bright colors. So much kids can do with these, and helps promote skills in my child with developmental delays. I am glad we got this!!!

Great product, but expensive!
I use these with my students to teach them to imitate block patterns, identify same and different, sort by color, to count with 1:1 correspondence etc.Great product, but expensive!

1″ blocks perfect for stacking and creating
Wanted to help my kids develop their abilities at three-dimensional spatial visualization. These 1″ square blocks, along with a nifty online isometric drawing web site, turned out to be the perfect way to do that! Have spent many hours creating stacks of colored 3d blocks on the Illuminations “Isometric Drawing Tool” page […] and then having the little ones reproduce the patterns with the blocks. No matter how many we do, they always want to do more! Fun for me and them. These blocks are exactly what I was looking for. Nice quality, sufficient quantity, and consistent size/color/weight for the 3D stacks they make to exactly match the diagrams I create. Really recommend these blocks if you’re interested in working with your munchkins to exercise their developing minds!

Great blocks for little hands
The blocks are a great size for little hands. It would be better if there were the same number of blocks for each color.

I think these blocks will be around for a long time!
I ordered these blocks for my 7 month old grandson. They are a perfect size for him to grasp in his hands right now. Blocks this size for a baby are a great toy for hand/eye coordination and for learning to grasp larger items. This is important for their gross motor skills to develop. It will eventually develop into them being able to stack them and build with them, but for now it’s just for learning coordination. I also ordered another set of similar blocks so when he is old enough to actually PLAY and BUILD with blocks, he will have a large enough set to do so. The blocks are a good quality and the color doesn’t seem to run should he put them up to his mouth to try to suck on them! The edges are all smooth and I don’t see any splintering of the wood. I would definitely recommend these blocks to anyone.

Although they might seem like a toy for babies, these blocks are great for helping kids of any age learn Maths. I’ve used them in my tutoring to illustrate everything from arithmetic, to factors, to area, exponents, and even Pythagoras Theorem and Completing the Square.

durable and colourful, so much one can do with these, there were alot of them in the plastic jar. Only one downside of this..WATCH WHERE YOU TREAD! I had one under my feet whilst going downstairs to the toilet, it hurt so much!
