Best no-pull harness
This is the third one since I purchased this harness. It gets a lot of wear and tear. It is well designed and it is very sturdy. I wish the designer would create one that doesn’t hold so much shedded dog hair. My dog goes hunting in this every time and he can be see by other hunters. He doesn’t pull as much and he walks into the harness when it is time to go for his walk. Tell me what dong does that. I see people with this neck leashes and I feel sorry for the dog because that is not good to their throat and it make them pull even harder because it is choking them. It is easy to slip on and off. It doesn’t pull on the throat of the dog. My dong is 85-90 pounds and this is the perfect size. He tall in stature, but not as wide. He is a hunting dog and so he’s very fit. So if you are considering purchasing this product then consider the chest size and the rib cage. This is a large. He got it for a Christmas present and he walked right into it. Enjoy it if you have it!

The best affordable Harness
I’ve been having this for a while now and thought I’d write a review, because of how great my experience has been with this harness. I want to start off by saying I have a English Staffordshire Bull Terrier and she’s a medium size dog. This harness is easily adjustable. I got her a cheap harness before buying her this one and she used to pull on the leash so hard that she’d choke herself with it. This harness on the other hand prevents that from happening, because it holds her chest. She learned to walk with this harness since she was 5 months old. It’s very easy to put on and take off. It’s very durable as she could not break it no matter how much she pulled at first. It’s padded so it seems to be comfortable. It looks nice and has a lock switch to hold it in place. She still has it to this day and it’s as good as new. It’s held up very good from long walks and rolling around in the grass. I’d say it’s a great bang for your buck and I highly recommend.

Great Harness if the Chest Strap Fits Your Dog, Not-so-Great if it Doesn’t
This harness is well made and I love the easy to get on and off design. It has a lot of padding for comfort, and the locking belly strap clip adds an extra security measure to keep your dog safe. It’s awesome in every way, except 1. The chest strap is not adjustable, and unfortunately this makes these harnesses completely unusable for my dogs.I have 2 dogs, a 25-lb puggle and an 8-lb toy fox terrier. I ordered the sizes indicated in the size chart–XS for my puggle and XXXS for my toy fox terrier. When they arrived, I adjusted the belly straps to the correct size, put them on my dogs, and off we went for our walk. The first thing I noticed was how big the chest strap was on my toy fox terrier. The belly strap fits fine, it’s tight enough without being too tight. But she does not have a broad chest, and the chest strap is way too big. She walks fine in it, however it is very easy for her to slip one or both front legs through the chest strap, making the harness basically useless at that point. I had to constantly watch her during our walks to make sure she hadn’t slipped through the harness. Unfortunately, it’s unsafe so I am not able to use it. Even in the car, when clipped in to her seatbelt, she can easily slip out of it due to the chest strap being too big.My puggle’s harness fits a little better, but the chest strap is also too big on her. with the same results of slipping her leg through the chest strap.I really wanted to use these harnesses, but unfortunately they are just not safe for my dogs.

Great Find….
I am a fur Mom of 4 rescues, 3 American Staffies (Male Pits) and 1 Collie-Shepherd female. These harnesses are the BEST for the Pits. Great fit on the barrel chest and enough strap supplied to adjust the girth. The front is well padded and a built in strap to use on the handle on the top of the harness is handy as well as the button lock mechanism on the belly strap. There is no chaffing under the armpits. I ordered an XL and my pups range from 69 to 82 pounds and it provided the right support. I purchased a large for the female Collie-Shepherd and I believe it to be too big for her 67 pound size. There is too much slack on the top of her back when walking. I will try a smaller size. I would not hesitate to make this purchase…well made, well padded and stitched and the selection of colors are very vibrant.

Great Harness for Training Dogs During Walks
I bought this harness hoping it would help my golden retriever calm down on walks (she barks at other dogs; sometimes viciously). This harness works great and has dramatically decreased her actions around other dogs. The harness has a very nice and sturdy “handle” on top, so when another dog is approaching, I can easily hold her close and stabilize her anxiety (while using training vocabulary as well). Within a couple weeks of doing this, she has learned to calm down by herself with only the vocal voice commands. The harness is well built, strong and incredibly easy to put on her (no lifting legs up to get it around her belly). We both love it and now our walks are pleasant!

Inexplicable redesign
Why oh why did they change the design of this harness? I have two dogs and they each had one of the harnesses with the old design and they were the best harnesses ever. So easy to put on! You’ve got that handle so you can easily grab the dog if you need to. The dog can pull like crazy and it doesn’t choke them to death. So when the old ones got worn out after 2 years or so of daily use I got the new version. To be fair they are still easy to put on, they dont choke the dog and they have that great handle. The problem is they have changed the design of the part that goes around their neck so it slides around all over the place and if nothing else, it looks absolutely ridiculous on them… all this extra material flapping all over the place. My dogs are 45 and 50 pounds and it’s a size small harness, so it’s not a question of the size being too big for them. It’s just a poor design. They created another latch and adjustment on the neck that is not only unneccessary, but on my dogs it does not fit them nearly as well as the old, unadjustable model. They had a perfect product! Why did they try to improve it?
