It Works
My 12 week old isnât fond of swaddling and like to love her arms so this is perfect. The material is very warm so she doesnât wear it often being here in Louisiana it doesnât get to cold. Fabric is good quality, cute print, definitely breathable , not a lot of stretch but a nice light weight but still warm. Worth the price.I recommend.

Slept longer!
Our son transitioned from the love to dream sleep sack into the zipadee zip. We were unsure how he would transition but within a day, he was sleeping in his new sleep sack for longer stretches of sleep (esp at night). He loves the fleece fabric because itâs cozy and when he rubs his face with his hands, itâs softer than if it were his bare hand and doesnât seem to faze him – we tried a different brand with his arms out and hands open and he would wake himself up every time he touched his face. This sack has saved us when it comes to both napping and sleeping longer at night. We will continue to use zipadee zips as he grows.

Best Transition for Swaddle Lovers
My daughter was sleeping 12 hour nights in her crib at 12 weeks, so I was not excited to transition out of the swaddle especially because her Moro reflex was still so strong. I held onto the swaddle as long as possible, but around 4 months due to rolling we finally had to make the change. One arm, two arms out was a nightmare. We tried the cotton Zipadee for naps, but it didnât muffle the reflex enough so was mediocre. We tried the Merlin, she noticeably hated it .. started a new habit of crying when we would start to put her in it whereas with her swaddle she would start smiling at us. And her sleep (and thus, our sleep) was a disaster! A friend recommended trying the fleece Zipadee for the cozy factor, and that ended up being a hit! I also feel like the fleece muffles the reflex better. We keep our house pretty cool, so the fleece wasnât a big problem temperature-wise. The design of the Zipadee is great, but Iâll agree with the others that the quality isnât the greatest ⦠however, it works for us & itâs hard to put a price tag on that! Weâre back to the smiles every time our now 6 month old gets packaged up for bed & naps in it. I do wish it had a top to bottom zipper, but itâs not a deal breaker. I was skeptical about her mobility rolling in it, but she does just fine. It wasnât a one-night wonder for us .. there was definitely a transition period but would definitely recommend.

Runs quite large
We love the Zipadee Zips, and would’ve loved a smaller size (had them come in Small), so we got the Medium for our almost 6 months old. It’s HUGE on her and she is tall for her age. The fleece is very soft and the fox pattern is very cute!

Great transition from swaddle
We used the zippadee for about two months as our little one transitioned from swaddle to arms free. He was showing signs of rolling and constantly breaking his arms out of the swaddle but at 2.5 months wasnât free of the moro reflex and kept hitting his face in the sleep sack. The zippadee was the perfect happy medium ensuring safety of not being swaddled but hands not becoming a constant distraction. Itâs true the zipper pops up a bit if itâs big but once he grew into it, it was great. Once we realized he was between sizes, we tried the sleep sack again and he was able to transition but the Zipadee was the saving grace to bridge the time gap between the swaddle and sleep sack.
