Nice idea but was missing parts see “EDIT”
We were excited to try this on our pets but found that the push plate to remove the fur was missing and since that was one of the deciding factors on ordering this item we are very disappointed and cannot recommend this product. It could have been an assembly mishap at the manufacturer but the quality control must be sub-par to allow an item to be shipped to a customer with missing parts.”EDIT”I am updating my review because upon reading my original review I was contacted by the seller to address the missing piece and was asked to send pictures of the item to verify that the push plate for the cat hair was in fact missing. They assured me that they had addressed the issue with the manufacturer and sent me a replacement product which hadn’t arrived after 2 weeks and when I let them know it hadn’t arrived yet they promptly sent a 3rd and shared the shipping information with me.The replacement item arrived within the shipping window stated in their shipping information and had all the advertised parts attached and in full working order. We tried the steamer brush on our cats right away and found it to work amazingly and it gave their coats a nice moist shine. It’s a warm, not hot, steam and the bristles removed the loose hair they would otherwise shed very quickly. The cats weren’t too happy due to the slight hissing noise as the steam is released but the push plate that was missing on the first item delivered does work amazingly to remove the pet hair which makes keeping the grooming brush clean a breeze and was the reason we chose this specific item over others that were available.. Next up on the brushing schedule will be our little dogs but I assume they will enjoy it since they live attention.I highly recommend this item to all pet owners, especially cat owners who have shedding issues regularly.The customer service was amazingly helpful and understanding.

Good brush; definitely NOT a “steam” anything
So, out of the box I knew that the item was super cheaply made. There’s a small opening at the top to put water in; a button to press for “UV Lighting” which is supposed to somehow heat the water to a seam??The best thing about this product is it works as a good brush and it has a button that pushes all of the excess fur off the brush itself.Aside from that, nothing in the description matches what I received.1/5 stars: only because it works is a good brush and has the neat feature to remove the excess fur.. no indication of steam brushing or steam coming from anywhere??

Well this is a mixed bag. I was expecting “steam” and all reality, it is just a spray mist and not steam. not heated water. So essentially it is a brush with a built in spray mist. It does brush well and I do like the feature to remove the fur with a press of a button instead of picking at it.The directions as others have mentioned are a bit broken english but it’s pretty simple, 1 press for light mist, 2 for heavier mist and 3 to turn off. A long press gives you the “UV” feature. The button does get accidentally tapped while brushing so you are constantly having to tap it to turn it on but it does do a decent job of removing fur and adding a little moisture while brushing. I did not take long at all to charge up so overall it does what it is supposed to do.
