A foldable bottle? Who could have imagined this?
This is a unique and well designed water bottle that surprised me on how well it works. The bottle is made of silicone rubber with a screw on lid and carrying strap. To drink, you push a button and a cap over the spout pops open. To fill, unscrew the cap and the opening is wide enough to add ice. To store, you open the cap, roll up the bottle, close the cap, then cinch the carrying strap around the bottle. The lid and cap donât leak, and as the bottle is rubber, it wonât dent or break if you drop it. The bottle holds one quart (32 oz.) Amazon description is good.OK, the question you want to ask: How does a floppy rubber bottle perform in real life? I had my doubts; I imagined lifting the bottle to my lips and inadvertently squeezing water all over my shirt. And would the bottle fold in half while drinking? Not to worry. The rubber is stiff enough that the bottle stands upright on its own whether full or empty. It also wonât crush when you grab it with your hand. The problem is drinking, but all you have to do is hold it near the lid with one hand and put two fingers on the bottom of the bottle to help tilt it into your mouth.Pros – Nice looking, wonât break, carrying strap, great lid mechanism, folds for storage.Cons – Takes two hands to drink, no straw.

The flippy floppy bottle.
This is one of those purchases that I would like to be more useful but just can’t get there.First, the cap, locking mechanism and components are beautifully engineered. The cap has a double lock assembly that is easy to use and seals well. The silicone seal inside the cap is really easy to remove and clean, in fact the whole bottle. The weakest part of the cap I think in the future will be the retention band that holds the bottle when rolled up. A clever solution to that can be found though.Next comes the bottle itself. The silicone material is well made and doesn’t have any odor, The ad cites a stronger/thicker area for holding the bottle but I found that to be really useless. The problem with this bottle is that when grasped from the center and if 1/2 full it can fold like a cheap suit and then it gets interesting. The natural inclination is to grasp the cap in which case drinking is not going to be a good experience especially if you’re driving….because you’ll need 2 hands to manage this.To sum up, the cap is well engineered and I like it. The opening on top is large enough to clean easily or load ice into. This bottle IMHO should be half the size in height that it is so it can be managed without 2 hands. The folding ability when empty is very helpful but only for certain instances and getting this into a backpack sleeve won’t go well. This bottle needs 2 hands to work…..so if you just want storage then it’s great or to store filtered water from a stream by the fire and not carry it….perfect.

Nicer than expected, keeps it’s shape pretty well
I have both metal and collapsible silicone bottles and use each for different purposes. For in-vehicle and at work it’s always metal. For my nature hikes, it’s normally the silicone ones that are quieter in the backpack pockets. But I’ve not really been completely happy with those. They had all been pretty thin, and too easy to compress. When full they’re fine, but don’t handle so well half empty. This is a much better water bottle than the previous silicone ones I’ve had.It has a thicker textured band around the top that keeps its shape so much better, and way easier to drink from. Oh, and the capacity is good too, larger than most. The construction and design is well considered. The mouth is wide, making it an easy to clean bottle, and the snap-open top makes it a convenient one-handed operation when I need a drink from it. In between uses I can roll it up to keep with the backpack. This Take Today bottle is a very good one, and highly recommended.

The best collapsible water bottle I’ve used
This is my favorite foldable water bottle. Iâve tried two others, but both held smaller amounts (20oz or less). This one also has a better lid. I like that the lip-piece is protected from dust and dirt. I also like that this has ridged finger grip areas so itâs easier to hold than just straight silicone. This holds about as much water as my other everyday water bottles, but it weighs less and can take up far less space when depleted. I also appreciate the ml measurement markings on the exterior.I love that this bottle is completely dishwasher safe. I loaded this on sanitize mode, which is the hottest my dishwasher can get, and this hasnât deformed or had any issues.Dust has been an issue with my other silicone water bottles, so Iâm pleased that this one doesnât seem to attract the same amount of particles. The colors and design are good. Itâs easy to drink out of. Thereâs no reason for me not to recommend this!

So far so good
We like to bring water bottles when we travel but it would be nice to have something that doesn’t take up as much space and is less likely to crack when our suitcases are stuffed. This seems like a good option and is light weight. I haven’t had a chance to use it for travel yet, but it does fold up like the picture and once full, it doesn’t seem to leak. There are instructions provided on how to clean it to get rid of the chemical smell — I used the lemon juice & water method and it seems to have worked perfect. I’ll update this if something changes but as of right now, I recommend this as a good lightweight option for travel.

Nice travel bottle.
Its built welll and doesnât leak. Its heavier than I thought it would be. The plastic top is thick and feels a bit bulkier than it could be. Like if this just had a twist top instead if a fancy sippable lid, then itd be more compact. If you plan to keep it filled most of the time then its definitely a good choice. If you want something light and compact to put in your small back pack while on a cruise excursion, then it may be too big/heavy for your liking.
