Works great
I have enjoyed this pump! I got a wearable through my insurance but needed something stronger for when I was home. This pump has great suction. You also donât have to be hooked to-the wall you just put batteries in and you can walk around freely

Amazing Pump—Love the portability and ease of use!
The first thing that I noticed when I opened the package for this pump was the compact size of it. I had an Ameda pump for my first two pregnancies (got the pump 7 years ago) and I loved everything about it except for the larger size of the motor part. I couldn’t easily move around while pumping, and this made it difficult to take care of two young children at the same time. However, the MYA Joy pump has a handheld unit that can be powered by batteries and clipped right to my waist! I love it! I also really like that it has a digital screen on the front (my original pump had a dial to turn). This makes it a lot easier to customize the suction and makes it very user friendly. I also appreciate that Ameda includes a full set of extra parts for the pieces that need replaced over the course of the first few months (to keep everything sanitary). This takes the stress away of worrying about ordering extra parts in the beginning. Overall, I have had great experiences with Ameda pumps and I am eager to use this one. Ameda pumps are reliable, last a long time, have great suction, and work very well. I would highly suggest the MYA Joy pump to any new mom who is in search of a great breast pump.

Not at all what I wanted
The photos and product description makes it seem that this is portable. It is portable with batteries. Which is not enough strength to make the work properly. The photos of what is included shows a usb port you could connect to your car. But that will now work for this model it seems. The batteries pack does not make it powerful enough to make it hospital grade. Very disappointed. Bc now I have to be connected to a wall. Now at all what was expected.

Great upgrades on this pump!
This pump is so much better than the other Mya pump. I originally bought it because of the great reviews. I am able to get so much more milk and the previous version was just painful. It never held charge either. I got a blister from it. I love that now it doesnât start off on the power setting it was last in. The stimulation mode could use just a tad more suction power! I love that itâs small. Uses a lot of batteries, but luckily Iâve had a power outlet everywhere I go.

Great portable pump!
If you have ever used a breast pump, you know how difficult it can be to be tied to it and immobile, especially with a new baby nearby. This pump is fantastic for pumping on the go (car) or around your house. The pump has A LOT more power than other portable ones Iâve used. It is super easy to put together and learn to use. Again, much easier than other portable pumps Iâve tried.My favorite feature is that the display screen shows you how long youâve been pumping! (A pumping mom must have designed that! Soooo helpful!)Oh I forgot to mention it comes with replacement parts!! Such a nice surprise when I opened the box!

Little disappointing
I used to have the old Ameda Mya Joy, where is cake with a battery pack inside it, to where you could just plug it in and it would recharge. That is now the down fall with this upgrade, yes itâs portable but those 4 AA batteries only last 24 hours. So itâs gonna get expensive to be portable. My older model started to turn itself off, and I was very hopeful this model would be just had awesome as that one. Not really the case.

I’m mainly pumping breast milk and this is the 3rd pump I’ve used. One was awful, one is portable and convenient, and this pump works the best in emptying milk from full breasts! It also comes with extra parts for the future!

Primero que nada, llegó el paquete antes del tiempo previsto, en excelentes condiciones. Cuenta con todo lo que viene en la descripción y en las imagenes que subà incluso viene una bolsa con muestras de protectores de lactancia y un sobresito de crema lanolina. El instructivo tiene la opción del idioma español. Vienen repuestos. Actualmente no lo he usado porque no nace mi bebe pero en cuanto a material, empaque, calidad y envÃo sà lo recomiendo.
