It’s exactly what you would expect from a standard retractable leash. It works well. Maybe a little over priced, but not by much. The quality of everything is good, including the retractable cord which is the most important part.

This retractable dog leash is strong and easy to use. It doesn’t tangle, even with a big dog. The handle is comfortable, and the one-button break and lock system works smoothly. It’s great for walking small, medium, or large dogs, and the bright green color looks nice too!

Not great for big or strong dogs
Our old ‘indestructible’ leash broke and the company decided not to stand by their guarantee (surprise!) anyways… we needed a replacement. I decided to check this one out as it seemed simple and i was intrigued by the ‘tangle free’ claim. Well, after getting it i realized this wouldn’t work for our dog… but we tried it anyways and he PROVED it’s not for our dog. First off, the handle is pretty small, my wife can hold it but i can’t, not without leaving a pinky finger out of the handle area. The leash itself is well made, it’s a flat nylon fabric that is resistant to twisting and knotting which is better than our cordage-based ones. But yeah, if your dog pulls then this is not for you. The clutch/catch inside is not built to stand up to a lot of tugging… so if you’ve got a puller than it will uncatch out of the locked position. Especially if they pull, let up for a second, and pull again. There’s supposed to be a switch to lock/release the leash but it only works for really gentle walkers. We do have a cat who enjoys walks (don’t judge… she’s also fat as heck and needs exercise). The leash works for her since she’s not prone to taking off, and in THAT instance the leash behaves as advertised. I still can’t get a good grip though, that’s never changed. So yeah, i’f you’ve got one of those little dogs you can throw like a football, then this should be fine. However for larger or stronger dogs i would suggest looking elsewhere.

Keep looking at other retractable leashes
This leash is not worth the money. The lock latch slips and keeps extending when the lock length is needed. There is not a hold position on this leash.

A bit light weight but works well for my 6 pound puppy
I have a 6 pound dachshund puppy so this retractable leash works well for her. She is also not a dog to chew at her leash. The rope of the leash is thin fabric so I feel like if you have a chewer this leash would not last long. I read a bunch of reviews that the licking mechanism didnât work but I did not have that problem. Again my dog is pretty obsessed with staying by my feet while out walking so she doesnât really pull at the leash much. This leash works well for me but if you have more than a small dog I would get a stronger leash.

Great retractable dog leash
This is a great little retractable dog leash. I wanted something my mom could carry that wasn’t too heavy. That would let the dog have a little bit more room. It works very well and smoothly and lets the dog a little bit further away. Easy to retract and so far so good!

This leash is nice and long but itâs a little difficult to keep control of the length. Doesnât tangle easily but struggles to retract. I would not recommend this leash if I were comparing it to others Iâve had previously

Thin strap
Update : lasted about a month and it crapped out on usThe color is beautiful. Itâs nice and bright. The holder is comfortable and lightweight. The lock works really well & the clip feels sturdy. Hereâs my issue, the strap is very thin. Itâs a type of ribbon. It did work well with pulling. As my Akita grows Iâm not sure if I would trust it not breaking with a large dog. You can see in the picture how thin it is next to my pinky.
