Nasty Smelling YES – but NOTHING compares to it’s performance in relieving and healing severe and dangerously dry and cracked skin! In the past we have had to purchase this at a local farm supply store as it was created originally (and popular) for use in relieving chapped udders on cows. Since humans discovered it works just as good on us but are more offended by stinky stuff than the cows are, newer versions and copy-cat brands have arisen and may smell better but do not seem to have the healing properties that this, the original Bag Balm has. So use nose plugs it you really feel you need to, empty a can of room spray around you after applying it, or just grin and bear it… whatever it takes… either way you won’t regret the end results – much faster healing and relief!

Can hardly find this in any local stores. It’s somewhat of an “old time remedy. Amazon, came through. I keep it handy for a variety of reasons; scrapes, cuts, chapped lips, dry skin. Try it, you’ll like it?

Best bedsore preventative!
After a nurse told me about this superior bedsore preventative 25 years ago, when I was caring for my aged parents, Iâve used no other product for that use. It is a strong skin barrier. When my parents or others are hospitalized or in nursing homes I insist upon itâs use. A major hospital sent wound care physician to talk to me about why I insisted on itâs use. He then agreed that I could use it instead of hospital cream, which never works. Although not ambulatory, using diapers, my parents never had a bedsore when using Bag Balm. I have cared for other family members over the years. Trust me on this use. Inexpensive and the most effective protector.

Winter Skin Repair
“Winter Feet” my description of the dry and cracking skin on my feet at this time of year. I’ve not had a problem for years but when it recently developed I went looking for this product. And I received it in the mail yesterday afternoon and treated my right with Bag Balm and my left foot with another product. This morning there is improvement in both feet but the right foot started off with the most issues and this morning it has the fewest.
