Works as advertised
Does not brush as fine as regular dog brushes, but my dogs (six yorkies) actually seem to enjoy being brushed with it, even around the face, like a massage.

Kitty Approved
This silicone grooming brush is a nice, gentle brush that is kitty approved. It does a nice job of collecting hair while giving kitty a nice massage. However, the shape of the brush is makes it a bit difficult to clean the hair easily. This silicone brush will likely be used more as a massage brush than for shedding. Overall, this is a nice buy and kitty boss approves.

Fickle older cat and older lady
Finally! This is the first item I have bought for my elderly relative and her older cat that they both love!! I had given her the most beautiful rescue cat ever. But as they both have aged, kitty has become fickle about being groomed and picky about anyone other than her person holding her. The extra touch from this grooming massage brush has been bringing back kittyâs personality. She is happier and calmer and more open to more people touching her. No more hiding. Any of us holding her brush makes us irresistible. Thank you for turning back time.

Good company, okay product
I love the company. They make good products in general. The brush however, has potential. It’s a little too deep and I have difficulty getting a good brush out for my cats. Plus difficulty cleaning it. Maybe I’m using it wrong but my cats also don’t really like it either so I went back to my old brushes.

3.5 out of 4 Cats Approved!
I didn’t want to like this brush. Why? Because it’s $20!! I have a LOT of brushes between 4 cats and a Havanese pup. Pretty much NO ONE likes to be brushed. Unfortunately, they LOVE this brush…and I’m going to have to buy more.Here’s the low-down: Cat #1 – domestic short hair rescue – gets brushed every night because of her, eh, girth, making it difficult to clean properly. She generally tolerates brushing as she likes to be clean, but with this thing she actually started purring. Purring!! I could brush her for SO much longer than she generally tolerates. Cat #2 – year old male – very thick, long hair rescue – is a total snuggle bug but also super rambunctious and has never let me brush him. Has sat several times now and allowed me with this brush. Actually comes up and WANTS to be brushed. Cat # 3 – 5 year old male – long hair rescue – he’s an inside/outside only because he was for years before we got him and insisted. He also has never allowed me to brush him – I try often as he has stuff stuck in his fur from outside. Again, starting PURRING when I brushed him with this and has sat on several occasions and let me brush him all over. Overall extremely odd and calm behavior from these three!! Cat #4 is a Balinese, who is timid and is the .5 approval rating 😛 She refused for several days and then finally let me brush her a little. She is not a complete fan, but has allowed it as much as any other brush.Side note: Even the dog, who hates brushes and tries to bite them, let me brush her with this. I don’t think it did much as far as “brushing” but maybe this is a baby step toward using a real brush on her.For the overall brush: It’s not really brushing as much as pulling loose hair out. It does make their hair super soft afterwards. The directions say to wet to keep the hair from flying away, and while it does help a bit, it is inconvenient. The hair does fly around a bit, but about as much as any other brush. Easy to clean and does keep a bit of the hair stuck to the silicone. It is super comfortable to hold. I thought it would be awkward due to the size, but it is honestly the most comfortable brush I’ve used. I would think the “healing” they talk about is the massage the cats must get. They love to be brushed with it and PURR when they do, and they obviously love the feel. (I tried it on my husband and he said it didn’t pull his hair and did feel like a massage. :P)Wish they didn’t like it so much…because now I need to buy several to have laying around for convenience when I find a cat on my lap!

FUR GALORE
This review is for PETHROOM Store brand (sold by BMSMILE US) Healing Brush | Soothing Silicone Grooming Tool | Gentle Deshedding Brushes for Cats | Soft Detangler for dogs. I ordered this hoping it would work with my little girl. It fits my hand nicely. However for me, it’s not easy to remove the collected fur from it. It works that it collects the fur. Good for long grooming sessions
I have 3 shorthair cats and this works well for getting a lot of loose fur out of their coats without creating a staticky fur cloud. Even my fussiest customer, my tiny 20-yr-old cat who squirms out of any attempts to brush her, liked how this felt well enough to let me brush her out. It doesn’t hold a ton of fur at once or take out mass quantities like a Furminator or similar brush does so it does take more time and pausing to clear the brush than with other brushes but it provides a more pleasant experience.
