So far, perfect
I have an old Golden with an incredibly woolly undercoat. I took a chance on these clippers because of the positive reviews, price and because they are cordless, and so far I’ve not been disappointed – at all. I’ve only had them about 2 months, but I’ve used them numerous times (on one charge!) to cut my girl’s thick coat down, as I can. She won’t tolerate long periods of ‘grooming’ (and I’m sure no groomer, by any stretch), so I only use them about 10 minutes at a time.
I can’t speak to how they compare to other clippers, because as I said, I have zero grooming skills. The only other clippers I’ve used are an older set of Andis corded clippers, and for whatever reason I can’t get them to cut. Plus, the cord is a hassle.
I use these to give her a ‘haircut’ (I dare not call it a grooming), to shave her paw pads, trim up her very wooly fanny, etc. I haven’t really used the attachments/combs yet, because I can’t get them through her undercoat. I suspect this is operator error and I don’t really know how to properly use them *Update: I can use the comb attachments on certain areas like her legs, neck and chest where the undercoat isn’t like wool, and they do just fine.
As many reviewers have said, these things cut through her coat like a knife through warm butter, literally, even the thick wool of her undercoat – and on the sides of her legs and her fanny, it is indeed like wool.
The aren’t loud at all, imo.
The charge they hold is impressive by any standards for any battery operated device. How well that will hold up over time I don’t know, but for the crazy low price of these, if they work for a year I’ll be more than impressed.
They feel “heavy duty”; in other words, they don’t feel cheap in your hand.
The LED battery readout is so handy, letting you know how much charge you have left.
They’re supposed to be water resistant, but I don’t intend to test that out, not on purpose anyway. I do carefully run them under a small stream of water to clean them, but I try to keep it just on the blades.
So, for the price, I can’t see how you could beat these, at least not for the average dog parent. A professional groomer may have a different opinion, but for me, these are awesome, inexpensive clippers that really do work on thick, heavy coats.
**4 month Update**: I still stand by my review of these, and just wanted to add that these clippers don’t get hot, at least not in the relatively short amount of time that I use them in one sitting (10 min or so, resting, and using them another 5 or 10 minutes).

Works well, now
My first unit cut well but would not hold a charge. Could not get through a single trim. I contacted customer service and they provided a second unit within three days. This new unit seems to cut well and holds a much better charge.

Works on longhair- so far
My dog is a border collie with very thick double coated hindquarter hair. Even though she gets groomed often, the hair on her hindquarters quickly twists into what I refer to as her dreadlocks. You know, those twisted up messes that you have to cut out to get rid of. These clippers (using the largest attachment) did a terrific job of cutting those dreads out. And being cordless really made a difference. Plus the clippers are quieter than the other 3 I have tried. I have only used this new pair once, I’ll try doing an update after 4-5 uses (we’ll see if they last longer than the others)

Great clippers & customer service!
I an re-writing my review. Customer Service reached out to me after my first review. Not only did they refund my money but sent me a new set to boot! THIS is how you do customer service! I just bathed and clipped my Shepadoodle and she looks fantastic. These clippers are relatively quiet and cut like nobody’s business! They also hold a charge for two or three cuts. I would definitely recommend! Thanks again!!!
Bought these in April. It’s October and I can no longer use them as they are already dull. Six months isn’t a long time being as I’ve probably only used them that many times. They won’t even clip hair without a guard on them. When they work they are great. Just wish they would have lasted longer and I wish I would have bought the extended warranty.

Tengo tres perros a quienes vinieron a cortarles el pelo, el trabajo que hicieron fue muy malo y quedaron completamente tusados, estaban a nada de ser un meme, muy divertido de verlos como los habían dejado pero en definitiva no era un corte por el que valiera la pena pagar, lo bueno es que era una estudiante universitaria y cobro muy muy barato, pero imagina que el trabajo que hizo estuvo al nivel de un preadolescente al que le solicitaste que bañara y cortara el pelo a tu perrhijo, eso si los trató con mucho amor. Por esta experiencia fue que tuve la necesidad de comprar un cortapelo para emparejar el pelo de mis perros y si bien hay otras opciones muy baratas me incliné por esta en particular por las buenas reseñas y el look profesional y puedo decir que no quede nada decepcionado.
En resumen puedo decir:
Pros:
РDe muy buen tama̱o y buen agarre
– Muy buenas cuchillas que se pueden ajustar para que no queden al ras y no lastimes a tu perrito
– Nivel de ruido muy bajo
– Pantalla para mostrar cuando le queda de pila
РEn la pantalla tambi̩n muestra si necesita que le coloques aceite a las cuchillas
РViene con diferentes cabezales para cortar en diferentes tama̱os.
– Se puede lavar y meter al agua una vez terminado
– Viene con una tapita de plástico para cubrir la cuchilla cuando la guardes
Contras:
– Si tus manos son pequeñas sentirás que la cortadora es muy grande
– Aunque el nivel de ruido es bajo y su vibración también es muy bajo al pasarlo por la cabeza mi perro se pone inquieto (pero quizás esto es por mi causa)
– No viene con estuche para guardar, aunque puedes usar la misma caja en donde viene y queda bastante bien, pero me gustaría que viniera con una bolsita de terciopelo o un estuche rígido (gustos personales)
– el cargador tiene terminación de USB, solo viene el cable mas no el adaptador al tomacorriente.
En resumen: ¿la recomiendo? R.- Si.

Coupe très bien, peu bruyante elle fait bien le travail.
