Metal isnât strong enough to hold up to fork tender russet potatoes
Purchased this mill for making gnocchi. The mill is very squeaky and the plate bent on the first use when trying to mill my potatoes. Wound up disassembling the unit and had to press the potatoes through the grid with a spatula. Took for ever and was a huge pain. Completely ineffective tool.

While the pan works very well. I like the three different sieve sizes. But be very careful when you take it apart to wash it because there are sharp edges. That was my only reason for giving this product 4 stars instead of 5

Not sturdy enough for cooked cranberries
Found it extremely frustrating to use. The turning knob kept coming off and no matter how exactly I followed the instructions the inner parts kept slipping out of place. Garbage in my opinion. I have purchased a commercial quality one now so I’m crossing my fingers for a better product.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I was using a strainer and ladle to remove the skin and seeds from my cooked tomato sauce and it worked great. I thought this food mill would save time, but it doesn’t work. It is also fiddly to assemble. I am returning it. I will look for another food mill.The box also arrived partially crushed, inside an intact shipping box. Product was not damaged though.

I got this last summer thinking I can make tomato sauce. It “worked” to get some juice and pulp but the grinder did not press all the good stuff out. If you are considering this for tomatoes, I would suggest investing in tomato press for sauces, a little more expensive but you’re only left with seed and skin.Will be giving this away to a friend.
