Very cool block set, but…
When it comes to the PowerTRC Wooden City & Transportation Colorful Building Blocks, there are a few things to consider, especially if you have younger toddlers around. ðð¦While these building blocks are super fun and colorful, it’s important to note that they come with small pieces. These small pieces can be potential choking hazards for younger toddlers who tend to put things in their mouths. Safety always comes first! ð¶â𧱠My son is 18 months and still tends to put toys and objects in his mouth, for that reason I could not let him play with this set. Of course, when he’s a little older I’ll bring the blocks out, but since there are so many pieces it’s just a major concern that one could be misplaced and he puts it in his mouth. If you have older kids or toddlers who are past the stage of putting everything in their mouths, this set can be a fantastic construction and stacking toy. The variety of city and transportation-themed blocks will spark their creativity and imagination. ðï¸ðHowever, if you have younger toddlers in the house, it’s best to wait until they are a bit older and more aware of not putting small objects in their mouths. Safety is key, and it’s always better to be cautious when it comes to toys with small pieces. ððIn the meantime, there are plenty of other age-appropriate toys that can engage and entertain younger toddlers safely. It’s all about finding the right toys that match their developmental stage. ð§¸ðRemember, safety first, and keep an eye out for age recommendations on toys to ensure a fun and safe playtime for your little ones! ðð¶

Compact but comes with a lot
This play set comes with a lot but it also comes in a compact carrier whose lid also serves as a shape sorter which is cool. The âplaymatâ is actually just a flimsy set of jumbo puzzle piece shaped papers but it is so warped and flimsy and doesnât stay together so it does not provide a good base to build on. Other than that, a good set for open ended play!

Weird
It has taken a while for me to get these, but when I did they were kind of disappointing. The blocks have slightly rounded sides making it awkward for stacking and the little mat that it comes with doesn’t even want to stay together. My son got really frustrated with these and eventually just kicked them around the room. That said, this is certainly NOT a set for kids who like to put things in their mouths (older children). Certainly not for kids under 3 years old.

Cute but confused about ages
This set is really cute and colorful and I love the house designs, but I’m confused about the ages. I can’t imagine my 4 year old nephew playing with this set because he seems like he’d be too old for it (he plays with things like rc cars and boats now). I would expect a 1-3 year old to enjoy playing with blocks but it also not recommended for children under 3. In the end I’m a little confused about this set and what to do with it. I think this would have been much better if it was made for 1-3 year olds.

Great wooden toy blocks
Nothing fancy here, just some nice, simple wooden toy blocks. The play mat is like a giant jigsaw puzzle. The pieces fit together to create the streets and plots for building buildings from the blocks. My 7-yr-old put together tiny houses for each of her friends to live on her street in the block village 😀

Hmmm.
So, first of all, the “storage container” is just the product box, and it’s not any more sturdy than your average cardboard packaging. In fact, our set arrived with the “container” busted open due to shipping…so, it’s not ever going to stand up to kids. Not to mention the plastic top was poorly molded, so it has a lot of burrs and I wouldn’t want my toddler handling it.Other wise the blocks seem nice! I would buy THOSE again, hahah.

cute set
The PowerTRC Wooden City & Transportation Building Blocks set is perfect for toddlers. This 100-piece set is colorful and encourages creative play, helping kids learn about city life and transportation. The pieces are easy to stack, promoting fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The set comes with a handy storage container, making cleanup easy and keeping everything organized. Suitable for both boys and girls, these building blocks provide hours of imaginative fun and learning.

Looks impressive at first glance. Most of the blocks are small, however. Shape variety is lacking.
This review is for the Municipal Transportation 100-piece set by Onshine and sold by PowerTRC. As wooden block sets go, this one looks very impressive at first glance, though once you start diving deeper, there are some significant shortcomings.Things I Like:While there are 100 wooden pieces, the vast majority of them are small (38 are 1×1 square blocks and 23 are half blocks). For example, there are only four 2×1 pieces! (2 pairs of arches and cylinders only; no rectangles). Also, at the bottom of the box, there is a piece of styrofoam that breaks apart way too easily. I accidentally dumped all of the blocks onto the styrofoam before removing it, and I needed to vacuum each piece and the play area to clean the resulting mess. While this set of wooden blocks can be used for general play, the shape variety is somewhat lacking.Notes1) In my overview shot, some of the vehicles are missing. My toddler decided to nap with them.
