Every dog should have this ball
My dog absolutely loves this ball. She has played with it for hours. I love that it keeps her entertained and engaged. The price is amazing for the time my dog has played with. It has paid for itself. It doesn’t run on batteries, it’s rechargeable. 100 times over yes.

Engaging and Fun, But Lacks Durability for Strong-Gripped Dogs
The internal mechanism of this toy works very well, and the ball’s movement immediately caught the attention of my Boxer pup. He was absolutely fascinated and spent hours each day playing with it. However, while the toy’s design is engaging, the durability of the exterior leaves much to be desired—especially for dogs who tend to pick things up with a firm grip.
We didn’t know what to expect since our pup hadn’t previously played with an interactive ball, so we supervised playtime and made sure to store the ball in a safe spot when we couldn’t keep an eye on him. Despite this, the ball didn’t hold up. Our pup wasn’t intentionally chewing it. He simply carried the ball in his mouth when we moved downstairs or to another room, yet the grip while he carried the ball caused significant damage to the exterior. Within about a week of regular use (approximately 40 hours in total), the ball’s outer layer became deeply gouged by his teeth.
To clarify, my pup wasn’t biting down hard or trying to destroy it, but his natural grip while carrying the ball left deep grooves in the surface. In just days, these gouges made the exterior sharp to the touch and compromised the structure. By the end of the week, we couldn’t screw the cover back together after removing it to recharge the ball, which made it unusable. And I was dismayed that there aren’t replacements readily available.
Overall, my pup absolutely loved this toy — it was engaging and kept him entertained for hours. However, if your dog has a strong grip or frequently carries toys in their mouth, this may not hold up as well as expected. It’s a great concept but needs a more durable outer layer and replacement hard covers to make it a long-term investment.

Bought it twice, but doesn’t last.
We have a small dog, and while the first ball we bought lasted nearly a year, the second only lasted 10 days. The problem isn’t the ball, but the charging (usb-c) the cover for it flimsy, comes off and our dog ruins the charging port, so you it can no longer be charged. We bent it back into shape on the old one a dozen times before it stopped working, but on new one the first time it got bent it stopped working.

Great toy but didn’t last
My 2 year old Cavapoo absolutely loves this ball and it helped use up some of her endless energy. The cover is nice for cutting down on noise but my dog used the short strap to flip it around so I was afraid she’d break something doing that. Unfortunately, after 1 year it’s no longer working. She hadn’t played with it for several months as it was “lost” under the couch but I got it charged up and it was fine at first. But the next day it’s not bouncing around like it normally does even after trying to recharge again. I’m disappointed that it didn’t last longer but it is a very fun toy. I’d give it 5 stars if it had lasted longer. Even though it didn’t last as long as I’d hoped it would, I may end up getting another one since my dog loved it so much.

I ordered this for my Bloodhound, who has a blast with it. She’s has so much fun, that I decided to take it to my place of work, a dog daycare, to see who else would enjoy it… It was a hit, especially with the lab types and puppies. (After watching the video, many of our clients ordered one for their dog at home and are also loving it.)
I’ve been looking at these interactive balls for a while, and this one, by far, is the best deal. The price is reasonable and the battery lasts a good couple of hours before needing to be recharged (there are some that are double the price and only last about 10 minutes). I don’t use the soft cover as much because that seems to encourage the dogs to just sit and chew on it, but it is handy to have.
It seems pretty robust too. It gets smashed around a lot and it’s still kicking just fine. I find that when the dogs just stop and start chewing on it (which you shouldn’t allow anyhow as I’m sure that will break it), that’s a good sign that they’re tired and play time is done.
I think the only drawback is that sometimes they can bite down on the button and turn it off, but I don’t think much can be about that. Just another reason why dogs should be supervised with this toy.

The ball doesn’t roll in rolling mode, instead all it does is vibrate very loudly. Dog is scared of the noise (and not interested because it doesn’t roll) and the next door neighbours can hear the noise even though we have thick walls and floor padding below the wooden floor. Amazon treid to contact the seller because the shipping label to send the product back contains weird boxes instead of an address (probably the chinese characters that don’t show up on the label) but the seller won’t respond. Luckily Amazon will guarantee a refund.
