I love I got it in a pretty blue my dogs favorite color its so cute. The fit would fit an extra small dog better although my small dog could fit she took up the whole space. It was easy to install just adjust the buckle. I tried it on 2 ways to unstall the car seat, one way I tried on the console it took up the entire middle console I need a lil elbow room. The second way was up on the passenger seat the bow facing the driver seat. My dog wasn’t interested in staying in a cars seat bc she likes to have extra space. This will be a travel car seat when traveling in other cars.

Fits perfectly
My chihuahua loves to look out the window while driving, until you put her at everyone elseâs level and she is fine on the center console. It didnât come with instructions and is a little difficult to figure out what goes what way . Sturdy and great thick fabric. Perfect fit for my perfect dog.

I wish it were sturdier
I got this to use for my toy poodle (Teddy) when my husband and I are both in the car. I have a larger, more sturdy car seat that Teddy sits in when just he and I, but it takes up the whole passenger seat. I ordered this because it fits on the center console. Teddy seems to find it comfortable, but Iâm constantly worried heâs going to fall over and it leans while heâs in it. I tried securing the shoulder straps over the headrests to make it more stable, but that didnât work out. It looks quite childish – not really complimentary for the interior of my car. My husband pointed out that the pillow on the front is tied at the center with a hair elastic.Itâs ok, but I will continue searching for something that works better for us.

My Chihuahua mix is 13.5 lbs and 17â from neck to butt. I had been wanting a center console car seat for a long time as she doesnât like her car seat on the passenger/ back seat and insists to stay on my lap. I thought she is too big until I found this!I love everything about this car seat except a couple of things!First of all, it looks beautiful yet practical!Thereâre no assembly instructions, which wouldâve been helpful but really not necessary. Just zipped up, stick the velcro, attach the lower strap, done! (see my photos) I donât know how anyone can go wrong with it.The top of the center console of my car is small, but the car seat sits well on it thanks to the removable cardboard-like plastic panel inside a zipped pocket at the bottom. It indeed is very sturdy!I love both of the pillows – head and bottom! They are very plushy, not too soft , not too hard, just perfect! The pillow for the bottom, I use the blue furry side unless she gets dirty then Iâd flip over and use the yellow waterproof side. The head rest obviously is bow-shaped not bone-shaped as described which is the best part of all because my pup always wants to rest her head on something, and other car seats are typically hard on the side for protection.It is very snuggly for my medium size dog but thatâs what we love about it! I think she feels safer being nestled in it right next to me.We have only two problems:1. the attached safety strap to secure the dog is too short for mine (so it doesnât strangle small dogs)! When my pup stands, sheâs 14.5â tall and she canât stand if I fasten the strap to the D-ring on top of her harness. So I fasten it to the side strap of the harness instead.2. The yellow oxford fabric smells really bad! I have been letting it air in the house for 10 days now, itâs still very stinky, so I canât keep it in the car yet. At this price, it is understandable, although I wouldnât mind paying more for a higher quality fabric that doesnât have that chemical odor! After all, dogs have a sensitive sense of smell, they shouldnât be stuck inside a car having their nose surrounded by this stinky fabric!Whatsoever, my dog loves it! Everytime I put her in it, at home or in the car, she has no intention to come out.
