So far, love it
My pup has been having this very bad dry patch and Iâve been trying a couple of things to help but so far nothing had. I couldnât find this in store sadly so I ordered but it arrived quickly and was brand new. Immediately rubbed some on his patch and so far has been the only thing that has shown any hope because this immediately gave his patch some moisture and the skin absorbed the product as you can see a major difference in the pics. This is literally an immediate before and after so Iâm looking forward to seeing how his patch is after using this for a few days. Also really love that itâs odorless. I know I like my pup to smell nice but he does catch on to smells very quickly and will immediately lick anything being applied to a part of his body he can reach. I applied this to him and he had no idea it was there, no licking and exploring. Love that because it means I donât have to worry about trying to reapply and keeping an eye to make sure he isnât tampering so the product can actually do its job. Love this so far and would recommend.

Amazing how it works!
I’m so glad that I decided to take a chance on this spray for dry skin. I have a year old Amstaff grandpup that I watch while my grandson works, and the poor dog was scratching and scratching, driving us both crazy. When I combed his fur a lot of dry skin and dandruff came off. I saw this product and decided to give it a try since it was so reasonably priced. I’m amazed at how effective it is! He has hardly scratched since I sprayed him down and rubbed it into the base of his fur and skin. It’s not sticky, has no odor and it works. I’ve used Palmer’s products for years for their effectiveness and reasonable price, and I’m happy to see they’ve expanded their product line to include pets.

Spray on Lotion review
I specifically bought the spray on lotion. It has a similar consistency to cooking oil I would say. My hound gets an allergy related rash in the fall on his belly. We do oatmeal baths but I was looking for something to help keep the skin moisturized between bathes and there isn’t a lot of “dog lotion” out there. So far so good. It does seem to help the redness and dryness he experiences. It also doesn’t seems to burn or cause him any discomfort which we’ve seen with other products. The only thing that is a slight bother to me is the smell – they claim it’s fragrance free but it definitely has a smell to it – it’s like musty fritos to be honest. I can deal with it because it seems to help his skin which is most important to me but I’d rather have it smell like cocoa butter or something else than what it does, not a deal breaker, but if you smell something funky and can’t identify it after using its 100% the lotion.

Average. Use coconut oil instead!!!
Honestly did not hate this product but I have to say coconut oil helped my dog so much more! Tried this and although it helped her extremely dry flaky skin get a little better it did not completely solved it. COCONUT OIL on the other hand saved her skin. After 5 days of putting it on her belly and her skin I can finally say her dry texture is gone!! If you have a dog who has dry skin and is loosing its hair really try coconut oil!! Honestly I donât mind that she looks a little greasy just happy her skin is finally looking okay! Do some research on coconut oil and try it if you are convinced!

Perfect for my outdoor pugs. Helps in keeping their noses nice and moisturized. Also helps keeping their fold clean as it captures all the dust and dirt throughout the day and can be wiped away cleanly with hypoallergenic wipes.

I like it, dog isnât quite so keen! But he just hates having his feet touched. When I do manage to get it on him his feet feel softer and look healthier after itâs been absorbed.

This does help with dry/irritated skin but my dog still itches but not as much. Am trying different products on her as am sick of the vet constantly put her on antibiotics.
