Wrong charging cord
Functioning seems decent, however I need this sound machine for a long duration and batteries won’t cut it. I think they sent the wrong DC cable (supposed to be at a 90° angle) because now it cannot be plugged in and sit upright.

Nice little sound machine, limited number of sounds
This is a nice little sound machine, that discretely blends into your room. It’s got a nice length charging cord and plug, which is helpful. While it doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles (lights and music) that our other sound machine has, it’s got a nicer appearance, more geared toward an adult. The sounds are nice and we’re happy with it.

Straightforward and easy to use
Note that there is a 10% coupon currently in effect.The LUXSWAY Sound Machine is straightforward and very easy to use. That’s one of the advantages of a single purpose device like this. The buttons are intuitive and easy to use. As promised, the device is extremely lightweight – to its detriment in my opinion, as it feels cheap and plastic. For a $25 dedicated sound machine, I was expecting something a little nicer. I vacillated between giving this 3 and 4 stars. It works as advertised and is very easy to use. However, there are some shortcomings I wish were addressed:(1) I need longer timer options than 60 minutes. It often takes me or my kids more than 60 minutes to fall asleep. Having the sound machine cut out after 60 minutes is sometimes enough to jar me further awake. On the other hand, I don’t like having the machine play all night long until I turn it off when I wake in the morning. I wish it had 90 and 120 minute timer options.(2) I wish this were rechargeable. Currently, you have to use AC or disposable batteries. I wish this came with a USB C charging option.(3) For $25, I wish the audio quality were better. It sounds OK at lower volumes, but it sounds quite harsh at higher volumes.

Nice Looking White Noise Machine
This White noise machine had a wide variety of sounds and can go extremely loud or very quiet, exactly what you need from a device like this. The front is a nice grey and white fabric and it looks nice just sitting there. It certainly is lightweight as they claim, however that might be a negative since it can move fairly easily. It has a timer for 15, 30 and 60 minutes. The cable is USB-A on the plug end, but it’s a barrel plug on the side that plugs into the device. Sadly that means it’ll be much harder to replace if lost or broken.The sound options are :Summer Night – AKA CricketsSong Bird – Which is a bit too tweety for meHeart Beat – I don’t get this one personally, unless you really want to feel like Pink Floyd is going to start playing any time nowWaterfall – A nice enough constant running water soundRain Forest – Very similar to Song Bird but with a whooshing wind or water sound with itWhite Noise – AKA TV StaticRain – Decently Mild, but if you want heavy rain it might not be what you wantBrook – Similar to Waterfall but not as loudOcean – An okay Ocean sound but not the greatestThunder – This one is just too loud a rumble for me. When I want thunder white noise I want it to be distant thunder, not nearbyFor the MSRP (19.99 at time of review) I think it’s a very nice noise machine and especially with the cost of bringing stuff on an airplane skyrocketing, it being so lightweight is definitely a plus for anyone that wants to travel with one. It also runs on USB so it’s very easy to get a foreign plug for it.
