The Transitional Swaddle Sack is the easiest & safest way to wean baby from a traditional swaddle. The arms up sleeve design allows baby to self-soothe and the unique ½-length sleeves with foldover mitten cuffs closed provide partial suppression of the Startle Reflex to promote better sleep. Importantly, the patented design is safer because baby can use their arms if baby rolls over during sleep. The Transitional Swaddle Sack is ideal for babies who prefer to sleep with arms up, babies who are starting to rollover, and babies who break out of a traditional swaddle. The uniquely-shaped, ½-length sleeves are not full length, so when mitten cuffs are closed, baby’s arms will be flexed close to body for swaddle snugness. The foldover mitten cuffs may be worn open or closed. Caregiver can open one or both cuffs, so baby can self-soothe by sucking directly on hand. Helpful 2-way zipper with 2 zipper pulls. The zipper zips down from the top to make it easy to place baby in the sack and zips up from the bottom to make it easy to change baby’s diaper. Designed by a nurse. US patent, D833,613 with patents in EU, UK, China, Japan, Korea.
The TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE SACK allows baby to SELF-SOOTHE and promotes BETTER SLEEP and SAFER SLEEP; Perfect for babies who prefer to sleep with ARMS UP, babies who are starting to rollover, and babies able to break out of a traditional swaddle
LITTLE SLEEVES with BIG PURPOSE; The 1/2-length, uniquely-shaped sleeves with mitten cuffs closed provide partial suppression of Startle Reflex to help baby SLEEP BETTER, and if baby rolls onto tummy, baby can push up to reposition head to access air
EASIEST way to move from a traditional swaddle to a wearable blanket; The Transitional Swaddle Sack is not a tight swaddle nor a loose sack; the snug fit helps baby feel secure and the special sleeves allow baby to use their arms for SAFER & BETTER SLEEP
FOLDOVER MITTEN CUFFS MAY BE WORN OPEN OR CLOSED; Caregiver can open one or both cuffs, so baby can SELF-SOOTHE, or close the cuffs to PROTECT BABY FROM FACIAL SCRATCHES and provide partial suppression of startle reflex
HELPFUL 2-way zipper for easy diaper changes. Soft cotton knit. SNUG fitting design supports baby in natural flexed position. Small 6-14 lbs 0-3 Mo; Medium 14-21 lbs 3-6 Mo; Large 21-24 lbs 6-9 Mo; US Patent D883613 and EU China Patents

My baby’s favorite!!!
My son loves these so much he only sleeps well in these sacks. I’ve bought 7 so here is the run down:Solid colors are a different fabric than the white with print. While both are soft, solid color fabric is softer. Both are a medium thickness. Won’t keep them extra warm if the room is cold, if the room is set right the swaddle works perfect.Wash with the zipper closed. One of mine got ruined in the wash due to the zipper (devastating loss, we use these every day). They are AMAZING for long babies! Not too wide or cumbersome. These are not the same as other transitional swaddles. We’ve tried 4 other brands and he hands down prefers this.Lastly, the mintish color, oatmeal darker blue and prints are gorgeous.Just throwing in the mix, the muslin blankets are really nice as well!Overall if you’ve read this far, I absolutely recommend these! I know I need more (SwaddleDesigns if you want to send me one please do!!). My 4 month old loves to scratch his face and swing around and these keep him asleep!!

Perfect Transition
My 5 month old needed a new swaddle once she was able to roll, but I didn’t want a big loose sleep sack so I decided on this one. Definitely the right decision, went back and bought a second one! Wonderful value for the money. Not very thick, but not too thin. Just right. She sleeps well in it. We love the versatility of the sleeves. We started with the ends folded over and now her hands stick out. The important thing is that she is comfortable!

Great swaddles!
These sleep sacks are great and keep my daughter sleeping all night! The arms are not to short and let her self soothe and she has room to kick her feet with out waking her self up. I love th bottom zipper access as well. Iâve bought 4 of them so far!

comfort and warmth
a great option for babies transitioning out of a full swaddle. The half-length sleeves and mitten cuffs provide comfort and warmth while allowing more movement. Itâs soft, easy to use, and helps with sleep, though sizing runs slightly small.

Great sleep sack
Love this swaddle for my baby who wears this at night since 3.5 months old. Used a medium until 4.5 months. The large one is perfect for my little baby who weighs 15 lbs at 5 months even. It is too long for him at the moment (baby is 26 inches) but I like it because he has room to stretch his legs and arms without coming out of the swaddle. If your baby still needs to be tightly swaddled to sleep, I wouldnât go with this one at the moment. However, my baby got used to being more free after a couple nights of waking up more often. Breathable, and doesnât break the bank. Have several since we deal with reflux.

This is the swaddle that helped my baby to transit to a sleeveless sleep bag.

My 3 month old started rolling onto his tummy recently and unfortunately the Love to Dream swaddles didn’t provide him with enough freedom to push himself up if he rolled over during the night. So I decided to try the swaddle design sleep sack. It was honestly the closest sleep sack to the one we’d been using and my boy was not ready to have his arms completely free. He is all limbs and his startle reflex is strong! The 3/4 length sleeve gives him just enough arm extention so he can move and prop himself up if needed while still stiffling his startle reflex so he doesn’t scare himself awake. I also love that I can open up the mittens in the morning when he snuggles and plays in my bed after he wakes.

As a newborn it fit well but At 3 months this sleepsackâs arms are way too short. They go to his elbow.

This is a good transition sleep sack, I tried the bbluv and love to dream before. My babyâs arms and hands can raise higher shoulder level like others. So far, I can see that he can roll over easily in this sleep sack and stretch out during sleep ðI ordered this size for my 5 months old, it is a bit loose but he seems ok with that, unless your baby like it tighter, hugging feeling, go with his true sizeFabric is soft, no peeling yet and zipper looks great, well-made sleep sack in general
