Very bright at night & well constructed
I just purchased this and have used It for only 3 days but it’s very nice so far! I hope that it continues to work like it does now. It did not need to be charged when I got it so it was already fully charged. The lights are very bright and the colors and the options are fun that you can do different things with them. I really wanted one that had the color for the whole length of the leash and this was the only one I could find like that. I also really wanted one that had the ability for the light to sort of go in order up and down the leash instead of only on or flashing. This does that and also allows me to pick from multiple colors of doing up and down, solid, or flashing. Also allows me to have one color, rainbow colors or changing colors which I liked. The the leash is probably 5 ft. Long I would say and being that I use a hands-free leash and harness with my dog. I really wanted something that I could attach to it. That would light up. However, ultimately I would have liked to have this be hands-free, but it’s not long enough to do that nor is it meant to do that. I wish they would make it that way or that I could find one with this same capability that also had a hands-free portion. Regardless, I’m fine with her having two leashes on and one that lights up like this one. Before. I just had little lights on her leash that were silicone and used for bicycles because prior to that I was going through batteries like it was nobody’s business! I then found rechargeable bike ones but they were small. So if somebody missed the light being on then they could easily hit my black dog at night or me. My dog wears a human headlamp around her neck at night that is rechargeable because it’s very dark where I live at night so she’s my little spotlight. But what I like about this one is that it lights her and me up so that a car would see both of us or at least the lights going to me and to her. It seems pretty durable. It’s a soft but strong. Silicone material. However, I think if your dog is a chewer it will easily eat through this leash because leashes aren’t meant to be chewed on. It is about 1 in wide which for my 50 lb dog is perfect. If you had a smaller dog I think it would be too heavy, but for her it’s great! I love that it’s rechargeable, bright, and easy to use! Is that it’s only available in a shorter length and not an 8 ft or more or doesn’t offer a hands-free attachment. I would also really love it if they had a harness with lights in it like this, but I’m very particular about what my dog wears as I want to make sure that she’s safe and comfortable so it would have to be high quality, escape proof and have front d-rings as well as backy rings and a handle and not go across her chest or block her legs or rub an awkward places which is truthfully hard to find. Find so we’ll stick what we have for a harness and use this for her leash addition

Bought two, didn’t last long.
Purchased one, it failed less than a month in. The blue LEDs stopped working and eventually all the LEDs failed. Got a replacement, forgot to return the first, and the second one failed within two weeks. The second one simply failed altogether instead of intermittently. Unfortunately, this is the only one currently on Amazon with the best looking design and visibility. Waiting for a better option to come along before I purchase another. I’ll eventually open the controller and see if there’s anything that fixable before throwing it away. Until I get a replacement, still need some kind of leash, at the very least it functions in that aspect.

These leashes do the job. Sturdy and colors are very bright. We bought two as our dogs have dark coats. Feel so much safer walking at night. The leash is lit up from collar and over the handle. And they came already charged! Highly recommend

Great when it works.
This is a great leash when it works. Multi functional lights make us very seen on night walks. Unfortunately, when a dog pulls on it too much, it eventually stops working when being pulled, and goes back on when pulling over.
