Works perfectly
The brush effectively removes loose fur and tangles from my petâs coat without causing any discomfort. The ergonomic handle makes it easy to use and provides a comfortable grip. My pet enjoys grooming sessions now, and Iâve noticed a significant reduction in shedding around the house. The brush is easy to clean, too, with a simple design that allows fur to be removed quickly. Overall, this grooming brush is a great tool for keeping my petâs coat healthy and tidy. Highly recommended!

Excellent at removing mats!
I bought this brush and the dematting double-sided undercoat rake from the same company for my cats. One of the cats has needed to be in a cone (a very short one to keep him from scratching the side of his head excessively, causing a wound) and got terribly matted all over due to his inability to groom. I think this fine-tooth comb-like brush might have been all I would have needed, even for his terrible mats. The double-sided rake pulls at mats in a way that seems much less comfortable than this brush, and I often found myself pulling the deep mats up enough with the rake to get at them more easily and then using this brush to finish removing them with less tugging.
On a second session where I was using this brush by itself for de-shedding, I found he had lots of mats on his “chest” area that I hadn’t gotten before, and they all came out quite easily with this brush alone and seemed much more comfortable for him. The other two cats have also decided they love this thing and line up for their turn.
I had been a bit hesitant to get this brush because it looks like the same concept as the “furminator” we had a very long time ago, and the cats we had at the time (since passed) seemed to not like it very much. I had also accidentally over groomed one of our cats with the furminator, not realizing that it was somehow taking out more than just “loose” fur. I am not sure if this brush has the same risk or the same degree of risk of over-grooming if used too much. The cats we currently have (rescued family of cats, all related) all seem to have infinite undercoats, but I am still making a point of not brushing them too much/too frequently with this, just in case.

Great brush
I hardly ever write reviews, but I had to fit these two products. Last year I ran over my Furminator comb and I’ve been putting off buying another because they’re pricey. I got a rubber kong brush but it barely worked. Then I found these. The packaging isn’t the best, and to be honest, my expectations were not high. Well, I just took my pup out and ran the black comb through her hair and I cannot believe how much hair came off of her. I’m kind of disgusted that I didn’t realize how much she needed to be brushed (She’s a short fur breed that doesn’t require a lot of grooming.) I threw away1 big handful of hair, then thought to take a picture of what came off which is in the picture. This wasn’t a sit down grooming session, just brushing her as she walked by and that’s how much fur I got. I probably ran it over her maybe 10xs and some fur flown away.
So.. If you are hesitant to buy either brush, just get them, you won’t be disappointed. Ppl mentioned it hurting or ripping out fur.. I can see that happening if you are really aggressive brushing, but I barely needed any pressure and it went right thru her coat.
I’m not sure how long they will last but if anything changes I will update my review.

Fantastic brush for long hair dogs!
This brush is an excellent finishing brush for long haired friends. Itâs gentle if used properly and grabs all the loose fur and any debris or grass that gets imbedded in the fur when they are out playing. Itâs very sturdy, durable bush made out of quality materials that will last a lifetime. Excellent value for the money and leaves our Alaskan Klee Kaiâs (mini husky) coat soft, shiny and with a groomed look! Love it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a brush.

He was so delighted, our cat purred during his second and subsequent grooming!!! The brush removes the old winter coat with ease and to the delight of our pet. Easy to handle. Bright pink colour so you can easily spot it when you put the brush down if not in its usual place. Highly recommend. Very good quality at a reasonable price.

We were looking for another brush or comb that would help get out our cat’s undercoat. We typically use the kind of brush with a bunch of short metal bristles, which works okay, but wanted more help. This product works as advertised although one needs to brush quite gently since it has a different ‘feel’ compared to other brushes. Since it has a different feel, cat is still getting used to it but doesn’t dislike it. Definitely works well at getting out more fur.

We have always used a slicker brush on our cats, but with our newest cat we found that it wasn’t doing enough as she has such a thick undercoat and she would still shed like crazy everywhere. Our other cat actually has a very light undercoat and is a light shedder and so we didn’t expect this brush to make much of a difference, boy were we wrong. It is pulling up tons of undercoat from both cats and both seem to really appreciate it. From the light shedder we pulled up enough to make another cat, from the heavy shedder we could start a whole new cat family. They always had nice coats because we brush regularly, but there is a noticeable difference now with the amount this one pulls out. The heavy shedder practically begs for this brush and she loves every second of it. We have found it works best by tilting it back 45 or more degrees rather than keeping it 90 degrees to the fur. The tilt-back really grabs the undercoat well and we often have to clean it after just one or two passes. It has made a large difference in how much shedding we are experiencing around the house. Would definitely buy again.
