We have a smaller dog, and this works wonderfully. I like the bright color of the unit, and cord. It is a strong material, and the reel spools out quietly, and firmly without a problem. The hand grip is comfortable, even with winter gloves, and the lock is easy to engage, or disengage. All around. it does what we need, and is ergonomically made well.

This Leash has held up to a lot of abuse. I let my dog run around in the woods with this on and he has gotten it caught up in vines and Kudzu many times (at least 10) to where I had to unleash him and pull the leash through the tangle. There were a few times I thought for sure it would hurt the tape leash but upon inspection it has nary a snag in the fabric. He also pulls really hard when he sees a critter and I’m amazed it hasn’t broken yet.Finally, the other day for the first time in my life, I was surprised by a cat he flushed from under a building and actually lost my grip of the leash. He went off into the woods and chased the cat and romped around the woods, through a dry creek bed and finally got tangled by a tree which is how I caught him. Once I got him back I was sure the leash was done for but after careful inspection and some drying out (the dew was heavy that morning) the leash is still going strong.Seriously have never had a retractable leash hold up so long. Plus it comes in orange!

I really like this retractable leash! It’s really smooth! Plus it has the refillable poop bag container attached! I didn’t realize this until after I purchased it but what a benefit!! Unfortunately, both my dogs got tangled up with me and knocked it off while we were walking and I didn’t notice it had come off until I went to take off the leash.The design itself is really nice and the leash length is perfect. It wasn’t overly expensive. This particular one was built for a smaller dog, which I have a female frenchie and it’s perfect for her but if you have a larger dog, you might consider getting a bigger one. She’s tried chewing on it but doesn’t get far.All in all, it’s a great purchase!!

Best recoil leash I have ever used!
I breed and train labradoodles and this is the best leash I have ever used. I have used many different brands and have had this for about a month and will see how it wears. But this far, it is extremely quiet in extending and recoil. But the most outstanding feature is the perfect amount of tension that allows even small 5 pound puppies the comfort of extending but yet the tension holds and the lead does not drag to the ground where the pup gets tangled around the feet. It stays snug when the pup slows and is a pleasure to use even though it is a good size unit. When not training, I normally walk 2 or 3 dogs at a time and having the lead snug at shoulder level is a tremendous help! In my opinion you have the market on this mechanism — whatever the secret! Thank you!

Very good quality worth the money

I have a 110lb Bernese mountain dog and we use this leash! It’s held up great! We use the lock mechanism when crossing the road which helps! Great size for our dog and even a medium size dog!

I am so pleased with this leash. My first surprise was no “slack”. The very first time I used it I realized I wouldn’t be bending down to untangle the leash from my dog’s leg; she’s always stopping and stepping over the leash. My second surprise was that I actually used the poo bag dispenser. LOL I absolutely thought that was a silly useless thing until the first time I reached into my pocket and didn’t have a bag; but wait! I did have a bag lolGreat leash, works as expected, locks and unlocks fine. My dog doesn’t pull much but she weighs 80 pounds and I’m not sure how it would hold up to an extreme puller. Overall, I’m very happy with this leash and consider it money well spent.
