I ordered this for my puppy’s sharp claws. I wanted him to get used to the noise and sensation of getting his nailed ground down instead of clipping, which I hate to do. This product came out of the box charged up and ready to go. It is very quiet and extremely easy to use. There is two different ways to grind their nails, and a guard around the rest. It is super easy to use and very quiet. I was just going to put it on his nails turned off and reward him and slowly work up to have it turned on and using it. I thought I would need to introduce him to it an doffer positive reinforcements over multiple days, but that was not the case. This product is very quiet and he didn’t care about any of it. He immediately let me grind down all of his nails easily and quickly!100% recommend this product. Quick. Easy to use. Quiet. Affordable. Rechargeable. Immediate results.

The dogs took a little getting used to it, but they will tolerate it now and Iâm not covered in scratches. They are quiet and work very well. I have had them about 2 yrs and still work like new. Hold a charge forever.

My 10 lb 15 yr old chihuaha is too small to use a (different) big dremmel on and one time the hair wrapped around the grinder stem and pulled it out SO, I bought a plain doggy nail file. I had to file, and file, and file, and file and finally gave up on that too. I bought this Petsaunter in hopes it would be safe and easy. IT IS! It’s quiet compared to a dremmel and wow does it go right to work! I can take off in 3 seconds what it would take me 30 passes with that nail file!!! The grinder guard protects his fur from catching into the grinder stem but I did trim his paw hairs back first, just to be safe. I only gave 4 stars because the LED light did not work right out of the box, but since my doggy’s nails are black, reading reviews says the light won’t help anyway. I LOVE THAT IT IS RECHARGEABLE and not corded and won’t eat batteries! â¤ï¸ It arrived already charged but I’ll give it a good long charge anyway. Other than the light not working, I’m SUPER happy with this trimmer and you can’t beat the price.

Works Perfectly!
One of my dogs is a puppy mill rescue, so I was worried he’d freak out with this. Nope! It’s super quiet, and researching the PROPER LENGTH TO CLIP AND GRIND NAILS helps immensely too. I would also recommend wearing a mask or better yet – setting up a little fan to blow the nail dust away from you and your fur baby.I’ve had this thing for I think 2+ years now. It’s still going strong after using it on 2 small dogs every 3-4 weeks 😀

The nail guard for smaller pets removes easily. It comes with charging cord and cover. It has 3 speeds; the third is a push button pulse to control. It has a light, definite plus. Easy to use and not loud at all.

Good Product
This nail grinder was a game changer for my pup, who has historically HATED his nails getting cut. It took a while to desensitize him to the sound & vibration, but with a lot of peanut butter lick mats & patience he decided it was okay.This product has an amazing battery life, Iâve had this tool for 9 months now & have only charged it about two times, thatâs with at least one 25min session each month.Itâs drill bit & power has been up to par as well. My favorite feature is the third setting where you press the button for it to actually spin, which was insanely helpful in the desensitization process.The only problem iâve had, which just arose, is the fact that the drill bit doesnât seem to stay on, after a few seconds of grinding it flys off & I canât figure out how to get it secured back on. This could be a user error though & overall it has been a great product up until that issue.

Super easy to use
This is great, I just got it today and trimmed all 4 paws (my dog literally hates getting her nails trimmed). Usually we have to take her to the vet for a nail trim and they have multiple people hold her down but she adjusted to this (with lots of treats and distractions) super easily. The guard was really nice because she kept trying to touch it with her nose and it kept her from being able to do that!! Definitely worth the price i paid

Astonishingly good
At the price I paid, this is amazing. Very quiet, much less noisy than a Ryobi that I have used. The guard is helpful but also easily removed. The light is great. I have done my dogs nails twice without having to recharge it. I hope I can find a replacement grinding stone for it eventually.

I bought this for my chocolate lab, thinking the diamond blade would work better than the emery board style but it barely took any lenght. Would be good for smaller dogs or cat nails
