I would buy this again. Yes, good for aggressive chewers. Only one thing bothers me. It says XL. But itâs really not XL in length, so if your dog playfully bites higher on the rope, watch your hand! This would benefit a more medium sized dog only because of the length, with no reflection on the durability.

Good strong rope
Wish it was a little longer, but my boxer that destroys everything non-steel hasnt chewed through this rope a month later. Recommend this for any strong-jawed dog/crocodile.

Destroyed in under 24 hours
This is not a good toy for aggressive big dog chewers. My 8 month old Great Dane puppy had this torn apart in less than 24 hours. I think the rope was fine as a toy, but do not be deceived by the description. It does not hold up well for an very active puppy.

Great dog toy!
I bought this for a friendâs dog and his doggie next-door neighbor. Theyâre both 50-60 lbs, pretty well matched in size. They played with it for 2 hours this morning, had a great time, played themselves into exhaustion. A tired dog is a good dog.

Awesome for 10 minutes
The listing would lead you to believe itâs durable. This was to replace an old rope tug for our puppy. I hadnât received the notification of delivery by the time I started the return. Played tug for 10 minutes, dog was not allowed to chew it for any length of time. But the rope already started failing and was splitting in multiple places.
