Easy to Clean and Spill-Proof
I’ve been using Contigo water bottles for years, and they’ve always been reliableâdurable, and great for everyday use. My biggest complaint with the old design was how hard it was to properly clean the mouthpiece seal. To get it really clean, I had to unscrew the top and scrub the rubber seal thoroughly, which was a hassle. Thankfully, the new design of the Cortland 2.0 completely fixes this issue. The underside of the lid opens up, fully exposing the rubber seal and making it super easy to clean.This bottle’s lid prevents spills and automatically seals the spout when you release the button, making one-handed drinking effortless. The new design even has a button lock to prevent accidental pressing of the release button.I really appreciate when companies listen to customer feedback and make thoughtful improvements like this.

My daughter is really hard on her water bottles. I was replacing them every couple of months. This bottle is great. Fits in the side pocket of her backpack. Itâs cute and keeps her drink cold. Best feature is it locks so it doesnât leak!!!

Not straying again
I have been using Contigo water bottles and coffee mugs for years. Well, I decided to try a different brand and was quite disappointed. With that said, I purchased this one even though it was slightly different from my older Contigo water bottle and I was nervous it wouldnât be of the same quality or to my liking. Have had it for a month now and with daily use I can say it is excellent quality. Color is as advertised, the lid is perfect for quenching my thirst and fairly easy to clean. No leakage from the seal and I love that it has a lock to prevent leakage when I need to toss it in my car or bag. The handle is also durable and the perfect size. The best part is that I once again have a water bottle that I can find no faults in for a great value.

I hate most chug lids that don’t allow air to escape elsewhere, and I hate straws with a passion (I do not have the energy to try to suck water out when I’m working out and breathing hard), so I was looking for a design with an auto spout like I used to have on the water bottle I lost a few years ago. I also like large capacity water bottles because I can drink the amount of water I need in a day without having to refill it every five seconds. I’m a hydration freak so I go through water fast. Even with the capacity though, this does still fit on my car holder. Some cars it won’t fit in, sadly, but for mine it does. I also needed an easy way to hold it with one finger so I can carry ten things like I’m always doing and not use an entire hand to grip a water bottle.This has all of that and more. It’s easy to clean, dishwasher safe (I don’t have a dishwasher so I just take it apart and clean in with a bottle brush), AND has the locking mechanism I always wonder why other brands didn’t have. So when I’m packing it in a backpack and it tips upside down, I don’t have to worry about something pressing the button and making it leak all over everything. Also love the neutral colors it comes in and it’s still a decently reasonable price. The handle doesn’t fall apart like my other one because it’s not made of crumbly rubber, and instead is made of hard plastic and metal screws. The handle goes all the way back and pretty far forward too. The spout has a protective lid so you don’t get dirt on it, and you can chug or “waterfall” as much water as you need without straining to suck water out or getting your face practically vacuum sealed to the spout for lack of air escapes.If you ever need a plastic water bottle, get THIS ONE. It is beyond perfect. It has never leaked or broken, and I’m a pretty clumsy lady.It does not have markings on the sides except for the 40oz line, and is obviously not insulative, but for me it works wonderfully. Great design.

If it tips, it doesnât spill!
The best thing I like about my new Contigo water bottle is that if it tips over or falls, it doesnât spill. It holds 3 cups of liquid (24 oz.) it also doesnât crack or break when it falls-but itâs plastic-Iâm not going to slam it with all my might onto a concrete slab! A drop from a significant height may crack it, too, but Iâd say it is of greater than normal durability.I love the self-closing latch on a he top that prevents accidental spillage and it also has a safety latch so it canât accidentally be opened. The top screws off and will unlatch and sit on the top shelf of the dishwasher so the inner workings can get cleaned.I find it comfortable to hold onto and it also fits in a standard car cup holder.Does it keep my water cold longer? Perhaps, but Iâm not sure. It seems durable.I labeled mine with my name and phone number in case it accidentally gets left somewhere. I WANT IT BACK! I like it a lot.Downside: Iâd like it to hold more water, but it fills easily enough, so thatâs not a big problem.

Love the AUTO-SEAL Contigo water bottle! No fusing with cleaning a straw/mouthpiece (auto-spout style) & no aspirating water through a gapping hole (auto-pop style). I’m sad they are so hard to find now, esp in nice colours (gone are the days of the Costco 3-pack…). The inside of the lid has a clip mechanism that you can release to allow for more thorough cleaning. The top handle seems a bit flimsy so I’m trying to be careful not to twist it too much, as previous handles have broken off. I miss the measurement markings of the old bottles – this one only indicates 24oz. Otherwise, my go-to, and would recommend!
