    Love!
Right away I was surprised that this is much bigger than I expected it to be! The bottom is a thick heavy glass jar, which I love, and then it has a nice little silicone pad that rests on the bottom of that jar to protect it. Upon the first use, I was holding an upset baby at dinner time on one hop and attempting to dish up dinner, and I had to also smash the baby food to serve at the same time. It then I remembered that I had this and needed to start testing it out! So I grabbed it and tossed some dinner inside, and to my immediate surprise it assembles super easily all with 1 hand!!! I was holding the upset baby, and cooking, and blending the baby food with 1 hand! I took pictures in the sequence that you assemble it, so you can see how quick and easy that truly is with one hand. For me, that’s aspects EVERYTHING and worth the 5 start rating. If you have more than one kid, I think the one handed detail is priceless and required! The way the blender works also reminds me of the old bullet I had years ago for quick smoothies. How you would put the drum on top and then push down onto it to trigger the on button. This works that exact same way, except 10x easier to push down onto and get to work! This button you can smoosh down with just 1 finger if needed! What’s different though is that you place the motor on top and push it down, rather than a bullet you would put the jar on top of the motor. The two spoons and the spatula are very nice looking and feeling, and probably better quality than all the other silicone spatulas in our house. They are that super soft liquid silicon stuff, so really good for gentle baby things.A dislike, I see this exact same item for sell for a lesser price, with a struggling review rating. I can understand wanting a clean slate of trying to have new customer review the same product again to see if it can do better this time. That’s fair. But I dislike seeing the other one with a lesser price tag, and literally both being sold by this manufacturer… so they have chosen this tactic, and I find it dishonest. The prices should be the same for the exact same product, us moms are busy enough, we don’t need bs hoops to sort through when we just need a stinking blender to feed the baby! Don’t make this harder Momcozy! Make it easier and we will love you forever.

Smooth purees, super easy to use
This baby food maker is super easy to use, and it’s more powerful than I expected. It has 2 layers of blades (which come with plastic protectors that need to be removed carefully). This turns foods into super smooth purees. No chunks or fibrous bits to strain out. I did have to play with the proportion of liquid to fruit/veg – it depends on what you put in it, and whether it’s just softened (fruit) or steamed (like yams).I really appreciate that this is a glass jar, not plastic. There is a small silicone mat to lay underneath it, so it doesn’t slide. But I found a kitchen towel, plus holding both the bottom and the top during operation, was good enough for me. The top is the motor, and it simply turns into place. You can hold it down, or pulse it, until the food is as smooth as you want. It’s super easy, and there’s no settings or guesswork. This is easy to clean. The glass jar is dishwasher safe. I just wash the lid and the blades by hand. The blades are the part that take the longest, but that’s true of any blender-type product. I make sure to rinse it off well after use, if I know I’m not doing the dishes right away. This set comes with a freezer tray, a silicone spatula that could be used for other things, and 2 silicone spoons that are actually a nice quality. It’s a great set for a new parent!

    Great food processor
I’m not the biggest fan of “baby branded” food processors because I am of the attitude that “almost any food processor will work for the purposes of making baby food.” With that said, the Momcozy 9-in-1 baby food maker & blender set does a really nice job of finely chopping or pureeing foods to a smoother consistency. The jar is glass which I appreciate, dishwasher safe, and made with food-grade materials. It has built in protections, like an anti-slip silicone bottom, auto shutoff if the unit tips over, and blade safety guards. It’s super easy to operate – you just lock the unit in place and push the top until you’re all mixed up. I have never used water with the unit – I only use breastmilk – but I imagine that it would function exactly the same.

almost great, blends fast and leaves next to no chunks
this blends very fast, easily 10-15 seconds if it’s something simple like a banana with a powder and milk, leaves next to no chunks in the end, which with bananas, is always an “issue”, so it’s nice this blends it pretty well. this isnt that loud, but i wouldnt call it quiet either, but definitely among the lower end among other small blenders.this works basically perfectly for an 8 ounce portion along with something like a regular banana, any more and it would not have enough room to blend properly and would probably spill out in some way. the glass bowl can also be used as a cup which is an extra little benefit, although i would like a bit more info on the glass, like whether it can withstand being heated fully through in a microwave for example and also the type used.some problems i have with it are when taking off the lid after blending, it basically will always drip so do it over a napkin or towel or sink when you open it, super annoying. it also doesnt pour all that well, especially if it’s something a bit chunkier. getting the blade to lineup properly is also a bit annoying when puting the motor on top, the blade sits a bit sunken in since theres a small dip at the bottom of the glass cup. the dip in the middle bottom also is kind of hard to scoop things out of when cleaning.
