Sturdy Well Made
I ordered this product for my cats who very much want to go outside. They aren’t thrilled with it yet, but I think they will get used to it. I ordered another one in another color so they can both go out. I don’t know about our cats with the seat belt feature, but it looks like a good idea for cats who are good car travellers.The harness is sturdy and well made, and the material is soft. My cats are 9 month old kittens, and the harness fits them nicely. There is plenty of extra strap to adjust as they get bigger. This harness is the small size. There are pockets at the top clips to tuck the excess straps in, but I can’t find one for the bottom ones.Once it is fitted for your cat, you can put it on with just the clips on one side. There are little red “sliders” on the clips that lock them closed, so beware if leaving the cat loose with the harness on. If the red sliders have the harness clips locked, it won’t break away. That said, if the cat is supervised on the leash, with the red sliders on, the cat will have a difficult time getting the harness off.I wouldn’t recommend this for everyday wear as it is bulky, but if you want to take your cat for a walk or seatbelted in the car, the harness will stay snugly in place keeping your cat secure.I think when my cats realize they get to go outside, they may get used to the harnesses.

This was a little challenging to put on our fur baby but I think that was more so cuz he didnât want it on. It looks durable and made well but this is just out of the package.The seat belt buckle fits in all the seat belts in my van. When releasing the buckle it kind of shoots out so might be mindful of that in case yours does that too and you have your fur baby or anyone else around when releasing the buckle.I ordered a size small as that was the recommended size and it seems to fit.Ashâs measurements are:Neck:10 inchesChest: 13 1/2Weight: 9lbsHe wonât walk when I try and walk him (not the products fault) and the harness slides up like it could be a little tighter but itâs on the tightest fitting but it didnât slide off him (I didnât pull too hard either though). When he just wears it normally it fits well. It seems like itâs comfortable as he doesnât try and get it off. Iâm not sure what the red sliders on the fasteners do as you can slide them back and forth but it doesnât seem to do anything. Thereâs a little ring in the front so you can put a cat tag on it if desired.The leash has padding around the inside of the handle. I shined my flashlight from my phone while he was in my sonâs fort and the parts the parts that are supposed to be reflective looked like they were reflecting.This is my honest review and I will try and come back to update if anything changes. The sizes are accurate but not easy to get onto a moving cat
I’ve tried numerous harnesses in the past and they are almost always too large for my Burmese cat, who is petit compared to most cats. She is able to slip out of most of them.I ordered an XS in this harness and it is actually the right size for her! That was great. The issue is getting in on her. It isn’t as easy to clip on as most harnesses are. I needed an extra hand to help me hold her still and even then it was difficult. Instead of only two clips, this has 4 and I still need to get her head through a loop before starting any of the clipping. So, she doesn’t like having it on and I didn’t get it to entertain myself so I don’t want her to dread having to wear this but she has discovered what the outdoors is like and I’ve lost so many cats to the dangers of the outdoors that I’m not going to let her go out there alone so she will either have to get used to this harness or not go outside.Most harnesses have a vest-like body suit but this does not have that which I think it good because cats usually don’t like wearing any type of clothing like some dogs do. This is just the clips, which are adjustable for size and a leash which is also adjustable for length which comes with an additional attachment in case you want to give your cat a whole lot of room to move around. I’ll try it out again to see if I can find a way to make it easier to put on her but if not, I will probably have to give up on it. More docile cats would probably have no problem with this and it would work well but mine is a bit skittish.
