Love it! Bright and sturdy
Got this for the early dark winter afternoon walks, love the different colors but most of all the sturdiness of the leash for out Boxer!! Itâs bright enough to be seen from a distance for hers and our safety in darks streets, I just wish it had a loop to hang the dog bags dispenser. Harness purchased separately from Amazon as well.

Great light up leash and collars
Leash and collar are very visible and great for walking dogs at night. Leash has padded handle and sturdy clip. Our neighbors say we look like a Disney nighttime parade coming down the street! I enjoy them because we are visible to cars on a busy road. Weâve also used them to make childrenâs bicycles and wagons visible at night.

Led leash is great for dusk & night time visibility
I love this leash!! I walk quite a bit in the evenings & the leash makes for high visibility when walking with my dog. My neighborhood has no side walks, lots of parked cars, & traffic on the side streets. I have had cars stop and thank me for being so visible when walking in the evening hours. Thanks to the leash, I am visible. Iâve also had many other dog walkers ask me about the leash. The leash recharges easily, there are no batteries to replace. I get several hour-long walks in before I need to recharge. I also like the fact that you can change colors or you can do a blinking multicolor, very festive, fun, & visible from a distance. Certainly worth it for me.

Good – Could be great with a couple upgrades!
Let me start by saying, the price is right. Not only does this help keep our dog more visible l, it’s also fun and has brought smiles to others as we pass them by in our evening walks. The leash is very strong and well made, which was a concern when ordering as our dog is a hunting dog and loses all control when seeing rabbits, sometmes squirrels, and also sometimes birds. I’ve had no issues being able to control her and wrap the leash around my hand for extra support.Per my title, here is how this leash could go from good to great… 1) The rubber piece that protects the charging port needs to be improved or better secured. My recommendation is if you buy this, secure the rubber piece before it’s too late. We lost ours on the second day of use then thankfully found it when walking the dog the next day (although it had obviously been run over by a car). It was still usable and we were able to secure it tightly to the leash using a velcro zip tie so it won’t pop off again mid-walk. This piece is very important as it protects the port in rain/snow and using the velcro zip tie to secure it allows us to still easily remove the rubber piece to charge it and then resecure it to protect it. 2) The side of the leash that does not light up is just black, this makes me have to constantly twist the leash around so the lights are in view and not facing the ground or wring way. This may not be an issue for some but our dog walks with her nose to the ground because she is sniffing anything and everything. We connect the leash to her collar (we do not use a harness) so I am constantly having to make sure the lights are showing in the right direction. This could easily be solved if the side of the leash opposite of the lights had a reflective strip or ribbon running down it. I’m actually considering purchasing a reflective ribbon to sew on it as this would 100% help with visibility and not make me have to constantly twist or untwist the leash to make it visable. Hopefully, the manufacturer can impliment these improvements take this leash to the next level!

Sturdy leash, lights up as advertised
We bought this for walking our dog at night on our busy street, as we do not have sidewalks. The leash is certainly sturdy. The cap on the on / off button is a good idea. I like that it has multiple light colors. I have to wonder how bright and visible it will be. Not as many lights as some of the other products I looked at. What attracted me to this leash is that it is relatively easy to charge and there are color display options, all on one leash.

Lights Failed After 2 Months
This leash lasted less than 3 months. First a row of lights went bust, and shortly thereafter other rows until all the lights went bad. I kept trying to charge it for longer and longer periods, and nothing. I don’t recommend this leash to anyone.

Works Fine For the First 2 Months, Then it Stops
I have purchased this product twice now. Both times the leash was working perfectly for the first 2-3 months. I only used it at night, received lots of compliments, loved showing off the different colors, turned on and off easily. Then one evening, I turned on the leash and only 4 lights switched on. I tried charging the battery, but still only 4 lights appeared to be working. So I purchased a new leash. Same experience. First 3 months were great, then one evening I found it hard to turn the leash on or off or switch colors without pressing the button at a certain point, or bending the leash a certain way while pressing the button. For some reason, the wires always seem to go askew and then I can’t use the leash anymore. I’ve tried twice now. I’m going to look for a different, and sturdier product.

Where did you get that?
I bought this light up leash to take my pup on walks after work. We have had a couple of other kinds that were more of a rope light that ended up breaking after a few uses. This leash is very sturdy and it is cool that there are multiple colors to select from just with a push of a button. I have been using the flash option and people are always stopping me to ask where I got the leash from when I walk my dog. Our dog sitter even asked for the link so she could buy one, too!I have been using it for about a month now 3-4 times a week and averaging 20 mins per use and I haven’t had to charge it yet. I did make sure that I fully charged it when I took it out of the package, even though I was not sure at first. The directions on the package and the insert inside both said that the leash will light up red when it is plugged in and charging, but mine was lighting up with the green lights. But after a month of use it is still going strong, so no big deal. Just wanted to give a heads up to the next person who buys it.

Adding that it will eventually wear out and not light up as expected over a period of 1-2 years shouldn’t alarm you. As with most electronic devices, if they are going to fail they will likely do so early on in everyday use. Harsh conditions and strain of pulling eventually breaks down the binding. They are certainly spectacular while they last.

Itâs really easy to use, great length at either your 6ft or 4ft length, depending on how you walk with your dog, had quite a few people ask where I got this, great sturdiness, the battery charged by usb, last a really long time, weight is really like a normal strap lead, well worth it for those wintry nights
