Very sturdy and collapsible, but short
This was exactly what I needed for a long trip out of town, however it might not work for everyone, so please read on.I bought another travel litter box that is like a soft side carrier (with hood and zippered door), but that box had soft (zip in) liners and I knew it was just a matter of time before my cat popped a hole in it with a claw – especially on a 10 week extended trip. I could not risk any leakage from that travel box, so I decided to buy a sturdy pan to put in the bottom. This is the only pan that fit PERFECTLY inside that soft side travel litter box (all other pans were either too big or too small and left a gap). This one was more expensive than the others, but it has the added feature of being collapsible for storage. The hard plastic bottom and rim, as well as the silicone sides are solid quality, sturdy, and easily cleanable. Itâs a very well made box.For my purposes this was perfect, but folks should be aware that it is a bit short in height, so if you have a kitty that likes to bury their deposits half way to China, you would need to fill it pretty full which then gives your kitty prime opportunity to fling litter overboard. If you put it inside a soft sided travel box like I did, the flinging litter is contained.

Perfect for kittens
This litter box is absolutely perfect for kittens. With the option to only raise the back, this allows the kitten to climb in without having an issues at all. Then once the kitten grows, you can raise both sides and it will be a full size litter box.

Small, neat kittens only!
This is very small! Got this for adult cat with arthritis who was having issues using regular litter box. Yes, easy to step into, but very small area inside, really only big enough for kitten or small adult cat. The sides were also so low that litter flew everywhere and urine did too. If sides were just a bit higher, think would still have been lower than regular box, but might keep more litter and urine in.

Decent for traveling
Pretty decent cat box for traveling with our cat. Wish the sides were a tad bit taller so she can’t kick the litter out, but it’s not that bad. As for durability, we will see how long it holds up to scratching. It’s compact, easy to clean and doesn’t take up much space when stowed away. It fits good behind the back seat when we’re traveling long distance, and it comes with a plastic scooper which is nice. If you understand what this is intended for, and don’t try to use it as a full time litter box at home, I think you’ll be happy.
