Perfect for my dogs
These keep my mini schnauzer & japenese chin safe. They want in my lap & that canât happen. Heads up tho, some dogs can step on the button & undo the seatbelt so be cautious. Iâve had it happen with my bigger dogs

I needed a seatbelt leash to help keep my Samoyed dog safe in the seat of my car. The leash snapped right into the female fitting on the car seatbelt and was just as easy to remove. My dog was able to look out the window of the car and be safe while riding in the car. Very good product.

Works exceptionally well in cars with back seat benches. Together with a harness having leash rings on the sides, this pair of dog restraining seatbelts totally secures our 30-lb Shiba in the back seat of our 2020 VW Tiguan. The latch plates are identical, and click securely into the buckles just as the passenger belts do. Understand, these doggy belts are not as thick as passenger belts made to restrain 300-lb adults, though I canât deny wishing they wereâ¦just because. Nonetheless, at about 3/4 the width and thickness of passenger bests, the webbing and stitching seem sufficient for a 30-lb and under dog (speed of lightning, roar of thunderâ¦), and should foster confidence to your furry companions during emergency stops. We certainly feel more comfortable knowing our Shiba wonât come flying into the front cabin during quick stops, which is pretty much all stops here in New York City. So, CharlieP says GET THESE.

After further review, I would strongly recommend replacing the plastic buckle included with this product with metal ones. The reason for this suggestion is that young puppies or dogs may chew on the plastic clips. Given the playful and sometimes destructive nature of pets, these plastic components are likely to break or become damaged. Metal buckle would offer a more durable alternative, increasing the longevity and safety of the product when used around pets.

Get’s the Job Done
We had a seat belt strap for our dog in one of our two cars, and after I once again was left at home without a way to strap the dog into the remaining car, I decided to order a second one. This set comes with two seat belt straps, so it’s great if you have two dogs or want to avoid the whole two cars/one strap problem in the first place. The finish on the metal could be a bit smoother, but it connects to the seat belt system properly, so ultimately that’s what matters.
