Simple but versatile puzzles
Love the card deck with puzzle designs ranging from very simple to moderately complex. I use these with young children and also children who are a little older but still need to build on visual perception and fine motor skills. Also like that kids can be creative and design their own puzzles with the pieces. The separate tins make for easy storage and quick clean up and keep the pieces and cards from being damaged.

The cards and wood pieces and the tins they come in are so beautiful and well made. The colors are bright and the shapes are larger than I expected which is perfect for little hands. Excited to give this to my niece and to enjoy making shapes with her!

I think the idea of this kit is cute. I love the puzzles and open play options. I think the kit could have been better in one box. The card storage one one side of the box, the pieces on the other. As it is now the kit comes in 2 separate boxes, one for the cards and the other for the pieces.

One-Child Toy
If two children are attempting to play with this set prepare for some disappointment. My four-year-old & two-year-old tried to recreate the simplest cards & were unable due to insufficient pieces. For example, if two are playing with puzzles that include eyes, you will have two one-eyed creations or one with no eyes as there are only two white eyeball pieces.However, I like that the pieces are larger than most puzzles of this type & there are LOTS of cards which range from very simple to more complex so the toy can grow with the child. I also like that on the back of each card is a depiction of all the pieces needed to complete the puzzle.I purchased adhesive magnet paper to stick on the pieces as well as small magnetic boards to facilitate little ones whose fine motor skills result in unintentionally moving pieces. I will probably end up buying a duplicate set so that both grands can play together.
