SUMMARY: Once you have gone your first round of storing milk, you don’t care so much about the extra features. You just care if it is sanitary, does it hold milk, and freeze and thaw well. And is the price reasonable.This might be TMI, but sharing anyway. Most breastmilk storage bags come in 6 oz or 8 oz sizes.Honestly, we have YET to store more than 6 oz of breastmilk in a bag.Again TMI: A few days after delivery, and breastfeeding, we could not confirm how much milk was being produced, nor how much milk baby was drinking. So, momma decided to pump and then bottle feed. Any excess milk would be frozen and stored in whatever volume was produced, but typically around a 4oz amount. Some people store the milk, blend from each of the pumping sessions, and then fill the storage bags and freeze. Everyone has their own method and process. I just know that we used a LOT of bags, storing at the 4oz level.Frozen milk was stored in 3 different homes: momma, and both grandparents. Just in case someone ended up caring for the baby at their home and there would always be the proper milk on hand to use if needed.There seemed to be so much milk in freezer storage. But after 10 months of pumping, momma stopped, and it seemed that “stash” of frozen milk was consumed so fast.Momma is no pregnant with # 2. So we are gearing up storage supplies to do the same process as before.These bags seem similar to most other bags. Honest, I have no preference.I don’t care how wide the pour spout is. I don’t care if it has temperature settings to say frozen, too warm, too hot. I don’t care to open them if I pour out the top, bottom, or a side spout. I don’t care if it comes with a marking pen. I don’t care if it has a space to write date and quantity – I can get that on anywhere. I can get that milk in and out and use the bag. I have used multiple brands and never had a bag leak or break. I have never had a bag not stand up to being thawed in a bottle warmer/steamer. As long as the bag is sealed to be sanitary until use. And as long as PRICE is reasonable.

Good capacity
These have a nice capacity for storing milk. The opening is a bit smaller than some of the other bags Iâve used so itâs more difficult to pour milk into them. The zipper seals tightly. I stored this on the side in the fridge with no leaks. It also froze with no issues. Iâd just like to see a wider opening at the top.

Leave a perfect I donât necessarily trust their measuring system. I always put them in a bottle first and then I put it into the baggie so Iâm able to measure exactly how many ounces Iâm putting into the bags of breastmilk.

These are great bags to use for breast milk storage. Have double zip seal and come with temperature control dots on the bag. Only concern is I wish the top was bigger to pour the milk into but still works just fine. Overall would recommend
