Brindle Boxer and yellow lab, 2 different approaches
Our Brindle Boxer absolutely loves this toy! We got one of the small babble balls from a friend and “Baron” took right to it. Very funny watching him, once he realized that when he bumped or otherwise jostled it, it would talk! After about an hour of him tossing and “nosing” it around (not bad on carpet but on our hardwood floors, it can get a little grating), he started chewing on it. We’re like, “OK, here we go, how long is this thing going to last now?”. To our surprise, it’s holding up pretty well. He’s a chewer that can really munch down when he gets into a “groove” and it is taking a beating although it is not indestructible so keep an eye on it.There are 2 screws that hold the door in, which is crafted very well but be sure they are always in there tight. To avoid any issues, once we replaced the batteries the 1st time, we took out the screws and glued the door in and left the screws out. By the time the batteries are dead this time, the ball will be ready to throw out for sure. Not bad for longevity IMHO. Our dogs can chew a Kong ball up in a couple days once they get a crack in it. if there’s a weak point on a dog toy, our dog will find it!….:-)Our other dog is Dusty, our yellow lab. Sweet loving dog with that “lab” mentality”, all love and slobber :-)He looks at the Babble ball with mild amusement and walks on past it. Every once in awhile, he’ll pick it up but that’s usually only a ploy he uses when we’re petting the “other one” (A name, we’re sure Dusty uses when he refers to Baron). I imagine he would actually like this toy more, had Baron not taken it and cuddled it like his own new born baby the second it hit the floor and commandeered the 2nd one just as fast!! :-)The Small size one (A little larger than a golf ball) has ridges on it and takes a beating. Once it started looking haggard and the batteries started to die, we would put it up and only bring it out for short periods to prolong the life of it until we could find where these were sold. Baron had become “addicted to the darn thing! 🙂 He would whine and stare at it on the shelf for what seemed like hours until one of us would get it down and give it to him. Since the small one seemed just “bit small” for our Boxer for our tastes and surely too small for our lab, we decided to get the next size up. The Medium one has a smooth surface which also holds up very well although, that once “smooth surface”, will start to resemble a Tennis ball after a while but it takes a licking and keeps on ticking! The “Talking” is amusing for us for about the 1st hour but it is a little loud with fresh batteries and can be annoying when watching TV or talking on the phone. After about a week though, the batteries start to drain some and the volume goes down a bit. Baron will only pick it up a few times a day from there on out so when he gets in the mood, he’ll toss it around for about 15 minutes then leave it alone for a while. I can work with that. :-)All in all,We are impressed with the quality AND the “FUN FACTOR” for both us, and our Puppies! We’re Babble ball fans for life! (Can we get a discount, if we buy them by the case? 🙂

SO MUCH FUN!
My dog loves this ball so much that I decided to buy more and gift them to my sister’s dog and my best friend’s dog. Every time we get it out for our dog to play with, we laugh as he rolls it around, barks at it, and chases it every where. My only recommendation is to take the ball away from your dog when not playing with it because the plastic is hard and you wouldn’t want your dog biting it. I also found that taking it away for a few days makes the ball more of a special treat for him when he does get to play with it.

Mixed Feelings
The toy is well made. The noises were too distracting and annoying for me. My dog was uninterested. Why would I want to hear a dog barking? It was way too loud for me to study and work. There was no way to control the volume either. All in all, not a good toy for my home.

WONDERFUL TOY FOR BIG SMART DOGS
This is a wonderful and remarkable toy for big smart dogs. I recently lost one of my dogs and my remaining 125 lb Akita/G.S. went into a baddepression. I purchased several other interactive toys which either bored him or he utterly destroyed in 10 mins. or less.My large dog is very smart and has canines that would scare off the devil. As a pup, he literally destroyed our couch teething, right through theentire fabric and frame, we eventually hauled it off to trash yard and it was literally a skeleton of a couch weighing about 20 lbs. Despite appearance he is very gentle and now well trained but still when excited accidentally just grazes the top of my hands with his teeth leaving me bleeding fromhis teeth. With several other interactive toys, I packed them well in several sturdy containers wrapped with duct tape to try to prevent their destruction tono avail. I got this about two weeks ago and although it easily fits in his mouth, this thing is sturdier than cast iron, and despite his best effortsto rip it to shreds – he cannot do it. Now every morning he looks forward to his play time with this toy and enjoys it for several hours and ithas been a big help getting him out of grieving for his lost pack mate.A couple of days ago, in the morning he somehow lost it and turned to me for help finding it…I spent 2 hours looking for it and gave up andordered another one with expedited shipping….I am really impressed and greatful to the manufacturer of this toy – for producing such a sturdy quality fun toy for dogs. I virtually guarantee thatyour dog will not be able to destroy it…buying it saved me a fortune as was re-buying other toys and futilely without luck using best efforts tohide toys in almost safety box materials so he would not destroy ….but he outsmarted me every time…and only this toy has remained intactfunctional and fun to watch him play with it….I cannot over stress the strong chewing abilities my dog has besides the couch, his ability totake apart with his teeth is remarkable, and if he was not such a gentle soul would be scary.E.g. He has been trained to protect me and once we stayed together in a motel room and I had a relative visit me and we ended up getting intoa loud but not violent argument – a typical family argument…As trainer warned me of his propensity to react to any aggression towards me, Iwas smart enough to lock him in the motel’s bathroom before getting to a verbal battle which lasted about 45 minutes. Fortunately, I was ableto work it with relative and we both calmed down and I needed to use restroom and excused myself and went to bathroom to discover, thisdog had in less than 45 minutes eaten the bathroom door down to shards. I had to pay $300.00 to replace the bathroom door. If my dog cannotdestroy this toy – I believe it is indestructible.Intended on stocking up on it, as he loves it and apt to loose the second one…Cost is also wonderful for a product I would pay a lot more for now knowing of its sturdy construction. Thank u Pet Qwerks….

I purchased this when my dog was a puppy and she loved it! She is 4 years old now and it is still her favorite toy. She lets me know that it’s time to play Babble Ball ( every day , even when I don’t feel like it.lol!) Durable and fun, all rolled in to one great toy!

This toy’s animal sounds are VERY noisy and the ball is made of hard plastic which is VERY noisy when it hits the floor or goes down the stairs… one by one by one… BUT, my dog loves this toy and seeks it out each day… loves to toss it in the air and chase after it… so, imagine the cacophony of the hard plastic ball hitting the floor and the animal sounds squawking loudly in competition. Then layer on my dog barking with excitement. Yeah, I’ve invested in a good set of earplugs.

A Princesinha Babinha ( Pastor SuÃço ) ignorou a bolinha. Resultado, este brinquedo é excelente, está resistindo à s mordidas e acho que foi o melhor que comprei para eles até hoje. Ficam entretidos por um tempão.
