IT WORKS
I have a mixed breed shepherd dog and his hair is disgusting. I have tried so many brushes and combs yet always had difficulty with his undercoat. This thing got SO MUCH HAIR off his body his coat looks so much healthier and I’m not picking his stray hairs out of my coffee mug, my mouth, or my eyes. Highly reccomend, great price point and although my dog is longer haired, I thibk it would work well for shorter haired breeds. I like the larger size as I thibk the smaller one would have been hard to hold onto.

I love this easy to use too! We have a rescue who is a Brittany Spaniel and Poodle mix. He sheds so MUCH! I bought this hoping it would help. It worked so well. The dog loved it too. When I stopped to clean the brush, he sat down, looked at me and licked my hair like he wanted more. My Yorkie mix (also a rescue) got jealous and then came over for her turn! II recommend removing any tangles in the dogs fur before using this to prevent the comb from pulling the hair.PROS:-It works and grabs the loose/shedding hair.-Works on silky, wavy and curly haired dogs.-My dogs felt softer after!CONS: (More like minor inconveniences)-You will have to frequently clean the comb to remove the hair.-Hair will fall to the floor (Groom them in a easy to clean area).-If the dog has a knot it will pull hair.

Great Deshedding Tool!!
I have a mutt who sheds a lot, as well as a husky mix. Dog hair EVERYWHERE.I was at my wits end with the shedding after 7 years (yeah I know). Taking them to the groomer is expensive due to their size, but I bought this tool and it has worked EXTREMELY well. My blankets are no longer itchy!!Pros:-cut the shedding (so far for me) by about 70% (my dogs wonât sit for a full deshedding session)-easy to use!!Cons:-if you arenât careful, it can hurt your fur baby- personal con is my hand hurts after awhile ð All in all, I highly recommend this product!!

Not for skinny, boney body dogs.
I won’t say the product is bad it’s just not for our dogs. We have greyhounds. Greyhounds are skinney and boney. This comb is just not for thinner dogs. I would say only for thicker dogs. Ones that you can’t see bones. It was odd to hold. Comb the direction of the curve. It took a lot of fur out but you can feel when it went over the spine. I had to comb so lightly and no pressure. The comb is sharp too. My dogs have very thin skin. To easy for them to get hurt. I was really looking forward to using this on them because they shred so much. This would be great for other breeds. It does work well for short coat breeds. It brushes out a lot of fur with loosening up dander and scalp flakes. Again, I’m sure this is great grooming tool for bigger thicker dogs, just not mine. I will be sending back.

New tool in my arsenal!
The handle is a bit odd because it’s dished out on one side. I prefer how the the SleekEZ brand feels in my hand, but I love the blade on this brush! I had tried to order a Furminator (equine edition), but the seller was out of stock, and I’m so glad I took a chance on this! I tend to stay away from metal blades, but the teeth on this brush are just like the Furminator (I have one for my double coat cat), so the brush will remove the undercoat without damaging the top coat!I tested this brush this eveing while my horse ate his dinner. I didn’t brush long because I was able to remove so much hair (and I didn’t want to have to clean his pen). He’ll be getting a full body brush tomorrow! I like to look at pictures with reviews, so I’ll add some later.

This brush catches so much fur from my great Pyrenees. It seems very durable and doesn’t irritate him at all.There is something about the wood part that dogs absolutely love though. So just be aware of where you put it when you’re not using it unless you want to find it completely chewed up.I definitely recommend this for a dog that sheds a lot
