Simple wood toy. Multiple ways to play!
I have 3 yr old twins, one is autistic and this toy is a favorite for both! At first I was disappointed when I received it bc I thought it would be put together. It was not. But this was actually great. My kids loved putting the stickers on the dinosaurs. I had to help with inserting the pegs bc they are not yet strong enough to insert them. But as soon as I inserted the pegs half way. I had the kids take out a play hammer we have and hammer in the pegs. That was so much fun for them to do and they felt like they were âfixingâ and â buildingâ like they see mommy and daddy do around the house. After that my twins attached the different parts , head, limbs, wings ,etc to the various dinosaurs. They were so so proud of building their own dinosaur. And after it was built my twin with autism loved taking it apart and putting it together again. Manipulating the parts by twisting , turning and mixing and matching the parts which my other twin thought was hilarious. A trex body with a triceratops head?? What a wonderful time they had. Also is used as a fidget toy for my autistic twin who gets to move this dinos parts to his heartâ content. My twin who doesnât have autism is engaged in pretend play with the Dino he built. It is now in the company of other dinosaurs we have , fighting, chasing, eating, being eaten, etc. this is just a wooden toy with pegs but it beats any electronic toy. Now I am on the lookout for more types of toys like this. It is engaging , educational as it involves the child being involved in the â toy making â process. So not having it put together out of the box is actually a great play activity for the kids to do! There are directions which are confusing , I didnât use them they were easy enough to figure out without using them at all. Put stickers on Dinoâs, insert pegs. Attach the parts to the body . Done. I do wish the individual bags were labeled with the names of the Dinoâs instead of letters but itâs easy to figure out by the shape which stickers go with which Dino. The instructions in my opinion made it more complicated than it needed to be. So avoid the instructions, itâs easy to put together. You may just have to help your child by picking out the right pack with the corresponding stickers for young children and help insert pegs and the kids can take it from
there. Older kids might not need assistance . Itâs a craft and a reusable craft at that ,if you take out the pegs. Itâs a toy that your kids can play with as is after itâs built or mix and match parts to create their own monstrous dinosaur creations like an evil Jurassic Park Scientist or use as a fidget toy. So many ways to play! So many toys in one. Great value that checks off marks for creative playtime. Even with the confusing directions it comes with , I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Perfect toy for a dinosaur-obsessed three year old — for older kids, not so much
The package and product description both say suitable for 3-5 year olds. I watched a three-year quickly assemble and disassemble these well-made wood puzzles. His five-year old brother played with the tyranosaur puzzle briefy, rolled his eyes as the extreme easiness of the task (it took him less than 25 seconds to completely assemble all seven pieces). Unless your child is a bit delayed, I would not buy this for a kid over three. I think they would find it unchallenging and hence uninteresting.
The puzzles themselves are attractively painted and interesting looking. They are also easily disassembled to return to the box for storage.

great toys for kids
The Wooden Dinosaur Take-Apart Toy is a fantastic educational gift for young children. Designed for ages 3-7, it features snap-together building pieces that help develop fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. The 3D dinosaur puzzle offers a fun, hands-on experience as kids assemble and reassemble their favorite dinos. The wooden blocks are sturdy and safe for little hands, and the vibrant colors make it even more engaging. A great gift for both boys and girls, this toy encourages imaginative play while promoting learning through construction. Perfect for creative minds!

Fun colorful dinosaur toys for kids
We ordered the GIRAVO dinosaur toys for kids for my great grandson to play with. When it came, there was some assembly required where the stickers needed to be placed on the dinosaurs so my wife and one of my older granddaughters helped put the stickers on the various parts. The toys appear to be very solid and not a choking hazard and the stickers are bright and fun. The dinosaurs are made for the legs and tails, wings, heads, etc. pop apart from the main bodies and then put back together. There are a total of four different dinosaurs which I think with the quality are good value.

Dino toys
These are nicely crafted wooden toys. I got them thinking they would complement a previous set of our that has metal connectors but these are plastic push fit connectors. That make these inappropriate for kids who are still mouthing things. I did have to apply each sticker to each piece but the stickers were good quality and did not rip. Theyâre very fun and my son loves to mix and match. The wood is the stand out feature as itâs a nice very smooth wood.

Fun and Creative Toy, but Best for Older Toddlers with Supervision
I purchased the Dinosaur Wood Take Apart Dinosaur Snap Together Building Toy for when my 3-year-old grandson visits, and overall, itâs a fun and engaging activity for both of us. The toy combines wooden and plastic pieces, and it includes stickers to decorate the dinosaur once itâs assembled. The quality of the materials is solid, and it seems durable enough to withstand little hands.
However, I would not recommend this for toddlers younger than 3. Since the toy arrives unassembled, it requires some patience and coordination to put together. My grandson needed help snapping the pieces into place, and while it was a great bonding activity, it might frustrate younger toddlers.
A word of caution: Parents or grandparents should supervise while kids play, as there are small pieces that could pose a choking hazard. Also, some kids might be tempted to bite the wooden or plastic parts, so keeping an eye on them is important.
What Iâve noticed with kids is that the simpler the toy, the more imaginative they can be. While this toy is a bit more complex, it does spark creativity, especially as kids can help build their own dinosaur and personalize it with stickers.
If youâre looking for something to keep older toddlers entertained while encouraging problem-solving and creativity, this is a great pickâjust make sure to supervise during playtime.

Fun Set the Kids Love
This is a nice set that was fun for my 3.5 and 1.5 year olds to play with when traveling. The blocks are on the smaller side but aren’t really a hazard. Very high quality paint seemed to be applied. They stack well with no rough edges.

For a life-long teacher with a special interest in pre and early school play-based learning, this set of 4 wooden dinosaur puzzle/model kits held an immediate attraction. Note that the kits require “first play” adult supervision in setting them up for later unsupervised child play. Why so? Because the kits contain small plastic pegs that must be installed in the wooden pieces INSTEAD of finding their way into young mouths. The plastic pegs do represent a choking hazard, so adult/parent involvement is essential. Also, the application of the artwork stickers requires adult guidance at the very least.
Each dinosaur kit contains beautifully-crafted and finished wooden “body parts” and pegs to attach them all together. The assembly diagrams, however, are rather small -perfectly useful for an adult but probably too small for little eyes and hands to work from. Perhaps the occasional kindergarten-aged child will be able to work from them on his/ her own, but they are too small for toddlers to understand. Too bad; there’s a missed learning opportunity there.
Each kit comes with colourful permanent decorative transfers. Toddlers will not be able to work solo with these so parental involvement is required. After the transfers are installed they should stay in place for the life of the toy. Young children enjoy being consulted on selection and aligning of the appropriate transfers; this is part of the learning/teaching experience even if the child’s eye/hand dexterity skills are not sufficiently developed to allow for completely independent transfer installation.
After assembling the kits completely, and again depending on the skill level and age of the child, subsequent and less highly supervised play periods will be possible. I recommend keeping each dinosaur kit in a separate zip-close plastic bag for young children; when they grow older and more experienced, parents can combine kits in one bag and challenge/reward youngsters to find the right pieces, or even intentionally mix them up to make “funny dinos”.
“S.T.E.M.”, an acronym used by many educators, is too limited for this set of puzzle dinosaurs; I prefer “S.T.E.A.M.”: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics. Teaching & learning opportunities abound in each of these core learning areas with these dionsaur kits. How do the Arts fit in? Story-making opportunities will spring up with every new assembly. I know my very imaginative grandson will create names for his puzzles and together we will create adventure stories for them.
Overall comment: if you are willing to spend time with your pre-schooler or young child playing with this set of 4 wooden dinosaur kit puzzles, they will do much more than pay for themselves through entertainment. They will become important developmental learning tools… as well as good fun. I highly recommend them.

This is a very nice set of wooden blocks, which comes with a total of 29 pieces – 26 letter blocks and three “castle” pieces. While I wish the blocks were a bit larger, they are nicely finished and therefore fun to use.
Each block has two different letters on it, located on the opposite sides of the block. There are also four images on each block, with two images associated with each letter. For example, in the pictures I took, on one side of the block is an “N” and there are illustrations of a nut and a nail, while on the other side is a “K” with illustrations of a key and a kite. The letters are all carved cleanly and coloured in bright, appealing colours. The images appear to be wood burnings, but they’re well done with a nice level of detail.
Each of the three castle pieces has a series of cutouts, large enough to hold a block, as well as grooves that you can rest more blocks in. In addition to being straight up construction options, the cut outs allow you to create simple two and three letter words which provides another option for play.
While I wish the blocks were a bit bigger, I give full credit for the level of finish and the care taken with the illustrations. The castle pieces are a nice touch and certainly provide some extra playability in terms of building structures. At full price this is a good value set, but even more so when they offer a discount (which it has at the time of this writing). So, if you’re looking for some all-wood building blocks these are worth getting.

My toddler loves playing with wooden blocks at gymnastics so we thought we would get him a set for home. These are really small.

This colourful 3d puzzle is made sturdy and is a lot of fun to put together. They are a bit more hard to put together but are a great learning tool. They store easily and are great for displaying for those that have a love of dinosaur s

The pieces are solid wood and well-crafted, but setting it up takes some adult supervision, especially with the stickers and small pegs. Once everythingâs ready, my kid loved mixing and matching dinos and creating silly stories. Itâs a great mix of learning and fun, but definitely not a quick, out-of-the-box play.
