Love it !!
Love it! Accidentally purchased the small size and Iâm glad I did! Itâs a bit smaller than the size of my small hand so at first I thought thereâs no way this will be big enough for my 64lb English bulldog! But it is perfect! Super sturdy.. love the rubber grip and edges and the cord itself (which concerned me at first) is VERY strong. My dog doesnât pull often but when he does heâs powerful.. this has held up very well.. retracts seamlessly and does not tangle! Absolutely thrilled with this. And the light is brighter that others Iâve tried! (And sits within the casing so it doesnât look stupid and doesnât get the cord tangled in it like the one I used to have)

Better than MightyPaw
I returned the Mighty Paw retractable leash for this one. Handle opening is still not as large as I would like it. The LED light is weak so I still use my iPhone.Compared to MightyPaw and CityFlex:It is a little thicker than the Mighty Paw, but it is not as nice as CityFlex. This one has the little knob like in the CityFlex to let the leash come in and out smoothly. The leash is too long but that might be my fault for not checking.It is a little bit harder to unlock compared to the Mighty Paw which was my reason for returning it. But I still think this leash pales in comparison to the CityFlex. I bought that leash more than 10 years ago so I canât say exactly how this leash compares with the current CityFlex. I like this better than the MightyPaw in terms of safety, but it does not have the little key ring on the bottom or the reflective rope.I canât strongly recommend this leash, but it is currently adequate.

I was skeptical
Iâve used many retractable leashes in my time alive as a dog owner. I needed a new one so I figured Iâd try this one bc it has the light. My dog is only 22lbs and this collar is rated up to 110lbs. I would not want to use this dog larger than 50-75lbs. It feels light in hand, the snap is much too small for a large breed dog. Now if you have a big dog that listens well on a leash Iâd say go for it. The light is very bright. I am very impressed by it. They also include the 2 triple A batteries with your purchase. I give this leash 4 out 5 stars in my own personal rating system. I say this only bc I donât believe it would withstand the hit internally to itself from a big dog reaching the end at a full speed run. I think it would strip right out. The breaking and locking features work very well and are easy to engage.

Flashlight did not last
I recently received my 4th retractable dog leash with a bright LED flashlight. The first part, Retractable Dog Leash, works well for me and my dog. The second part, Bright LED Flashlight, is a complete disappointment. I bought this leash precisely because I need a bright LED flashlight for our night walks in fall and winter, and I love the brightness and location of the flashlight. Unfortunately, after I replaced the dead battery with a new one, I had no way to turn on the flashlight. I returned the leash and the seller shipped my new one. This one worked all summer, probably because I didn’t use my flashlight much on summer days. Again, when the battery was completely discharged and I replaced them with new ones, the flashlight stopped working. This time it was too late to return, but I really liked everything about this leash, so I bought the same one. The flashlight lasted only a couple of weeks, the leash was sent back and replaced with another. I have been using it for a couple of days now and if the problem with the flashlight reoccurs it will be sent back forever. Disappointed. I would not recommend this leash.

Great dog leash has THREE things going for it!
1) The leash is a flat tape and not a cord type which makes it easier to untangle when our two small dogs get the leases intertwined. With a cord, it is difficult to see which one is which and it can easily dig into your hand if one dogs pulls too hard.2) The handle is very comfortable to hold and the locking mechanism is right on top and easy to reach.3) LET THERE BE LIGHT! This has the best flashlight inside it — it casts a very large bright beam in a cone area similar to a headlight. Much brighter than most flashlights. I can’t say enough good things about this! Its super for the money!!!

Great leash
I have always bought ribbon leashes, just like those so much better, than the thin rope. I have modified it and added very thin reflective sew on tape (also sold on amazon),because there isn`t any reflective anything on the black leash. I walk at night and I have people stop and tell me that they saw me about an 1/8th a mile away and thank me for using the reflective tape. The people especially like the reflective tape on the dogs leash,because they can see the dogs so much easier. I even had people say they wanted to buy the tape and sew it to their horses equipment. I love the built in flashlight. One person said they dropped it and the batteries came out and it did that on me once, but I can figure something out to prevent it from doing that I can`t send it back, now that I modified it. It`s big enough to fit comfortably in my hand,very nice. I have domestic dogs that get out of their yards and sometimes aren`t so friendly and it held my dogs from getting loose or away. I have two 15 lb.dogs so that`s 30 lbs of pull weight. Yes, I`ll buy again.

Product was great until three months after when the flashlight died. Replace the batteries twice to be certain. The reason for purchasing was because of the flashlight. Now it is your slightly above standard retractable leash. Unfortunately, after 30 days, there is no warranty for defective products and this product failed at 90 days. was great while it lasted ð

I love the flashlight feature.mi use it all the time. Itâs well made. Seems like it will stand up to these if time. It has a nice rubbery grip. Very comfortable. My whole family uses it and everyone gave it a thumbs up.

Good quality, but wish it had a second light on the bottom for poop pick up at night. The problem is, with the light in it’s current position, the leash gets in the way of the light and blocks the light beam, when trying to point light down to find a poop on the ground. But all in all a good product.
