Great harness
It’s easy to put on. We have a beagle that is built weird and he can get out of everything. Except this harness. It’s easy to adjust, durable and made of good materials. Our beagle doesn’t mind wearing it. Just slip front legs in and hook the clasp on the shoulders. Fast to put on and just as fast to remove. I like the double hooks on top for the leash.

I saw a few other reviews saying it runs big, and it absolutely does. This Medium is much closer to the measurements of the Large. Measured my Shiba and his chest is 22â which would be on the high end of the Medium size that claims to max out at 23. I was considering going for the Large because I have a Medium in a different brand thatâs too small for him. Glad I stuck with Medium.

Great harness, but dog may need training to adjust
We have long searched for a harness for our 2 yr old chocolate lab Lily. Lily’s a rambunctious 2 yr old, full of energy, a sense of adventure, and lots of mischief.The harness is well made and the size/width of the webbing is perfect for a dog her size.The harness was easy to size to her, and she was comfortable wearing it. Then we left her in her crate for about an hour, and when we checked on her, she had chewed through it. Our bad.That being said, we’d like to try the step-in harness again and take more time letting her get used to it (under supervision!). Clearly it is a much better solution than just a traditional dog collar.

Color is great (purple) but unfortunately it has started to fall apart. To be fair it is a combination of a 4 month pup biting AND itâs kinda cheaply made. For the price a good value, but we need a padded type harness for my crazy dog because she is a puller.

Beware of the Size Chart
According to their chart a large should fit my dog who has a 27″ chest. Unfortunately it doesn’t. It’s so big she can walk right out of it. I even went so far as to cut the stitched on label off of it so I could tighten it more and that didn’t help. In addition, it doesn’t stay tight. It’s kind of like bra straps – tend to slide as the day goes on.The quality is ok – other than stretching out as the day goes on. I’m desperate to find a walk in vest for my medium size border collie. Most mediums are too small, so if their sizing is consistent, maybe a medium will be what the rest of us would call large.
