I previously left a similar review for nearly identical version of these breast pumps. They were ordered Amplim Manual Breast Pumps for my spouse who is still breastfeeding. The quality of the silicone is comparable to the Haakaa, which is one of the major brands for manual breastpumps. These pumps are a good value with 2 in the pack. They have stoppers and suction cups on the bottom, which are more useful than anticipated. My spouse initially ordered the basic Haakaa without the suction base or a stopper (there are premium versions with these features), and we constantly had issues with the thing falling over. This is not an issue with this version of the Amplim Manual Breast Pumps. If my spouse is happy with this product, then I am as well. I highly recommend it.

Silicone manual pumps
These feel nicely made and are comparable to the Haakaa brand. Turns out my body doesn’t respond quite as well to this style of pump, but everyone is different and I know they’re a great option for other moms. They may not be a replacement for an electric breast pump, but are at least great for catching any milk that may otherwise leak out while feeding on the opposite site. I like the hanging straps so it doesn’t fall and spill if it accidentally comes off somehow.

I sent this to my daughter in law to pump colostrum prior to having the baby and uses it now that the baby has arrived. She doesn’t have any complaints or anything adverse to say about this perticular pump and would order it again if need be

Great Tool for Breastfeeding Moms
I have never liked pumping and feel equally displeased with the amount of milk that leaks from one side while baby nurses from the other side, which often gets completely wasted in the early days of breastfeeding a newborn. These manual pumps are a fantastic solution to both dilemmas. Having used comparable products in the past, here are my thoughts on this particular set.Pros:-These are an ideal size for this type of pump. They can easily collect what you’re likely to leak and aren’t too big or bulky to throw into a tote or diaper bag when you’re headed out for the day.-These are super easy to use, just squeeze the bottle portion to create suction and position it on the breast. The suction encourages let-down and the bottle just hangs there and collects everything as it drips out.-The bottom of the bottle has a suction plate that sticks right onto the table and prevents these from easily tipping over.-There is an adjustable lanyard type strap for each pump/bottle. This may seem unnecessary at first but when you’re nursing a squirmy newborn on the right side and trying to preserve all the leaking milk on the left side and the baby kicks the bottle off the boob and all that collected milk spills and you start to cry and baby is crying and there’s sticky milk everywhere and your shirt is soaked and you have no clean laundry because you’re busy being a milk maid…all because you didn’t have a neck strap to catch it, you’ll understand why this is such a valuable feature.-These can preserve an incredible amount of milk that can give you a fantastic headstart on a freezer stash for going back to work or just create a nice stock for the baby sitter when you’re ready for a date night. In the early weeks with my newborns, I’ve been able to collect and save an average of 2 ounces per breast of just leaking milk while baby nurses on the opposite side.Cons:-Minor con but the plugs with these bottles aren’t my favorite design. They protect the milk until you get it transferred into a bag or bottle but they don’t keep the cup portion of the pump clean, so when you go to pour the milk out, if anything was floating in the air it could have stuck to the cup of the pump that you’re now pouring the milk across. I’d prefer a cap that covers the entire top opening of the pump.Overall, these are such a valuable tool for any breastfeeding mom. This set includes important extras like lanyards and a full instruction sheet. They seem like nice quality and work very well.

Love that this comes with 2 in the set. While breastfeeding this is always a must and handy having 2 so you can spread them through out the house. These come with a stopper to keep milk fresh and can store in fridge. Are easy to clean out and can take with you anywhere. Do come with a lanyard so you donât drop it or knock it off while in place

These types of collectors are helpful to have early on, either to use for managing engorgement, or to collect let downs when nursing/pumping on the opposite side. I like that these have a larger, more stable base, and a stopper because that is obviously more secure when they’re placed on a flat surface. I always worry about my collector – from a more popular brand – falling over as I’m wrangling a wiggly baby. These are easy to use and clean. Overall, I’d recommend them!
