Great for a multi pet household!
Nice little grooming kit. I have about a million animals (okay, 8 cats and 1 dog, but it feels like a million). The dog is finicky about being groomed, so itâs nice to have options. The undercoat rake is wonderful for her thick coat, while the retractable brush works great for the dog and all the cats. I love that you can click the button and voila, the hair just falls off the brush, without having to pull hair off all the bristles. The little massage brush is cute and great for warming my pets up to the bigger affair of ârealâ brushing (havenât tried it in the bath yet) and the comb comes in handy. Nothing in this kit feels extremely sturdy but it all works well, and I like having all four tools together.

Great pet grooming set
These are all great quality tools! And i love the purple color too lol. The undercoat rake and the comb are solid and feel well made. The big brush is unique though and I’ve never seen one like this before! It has all of the bristles inside so they’re protected from getting caught on anything and being bent, so you hold the button down on the back to push the bristles out to brush, then when you release, the bristles retract and the hair gets pushed off them by the black cover. Usually brushes like this are the reverse; the bristles are always out, then you press the button to push up the base and push the hair off. I personally like the way this one is better than the other ones; however, it may be something you’d want to keep in mind if you have any issues with your hands or thumbs and wouldn’t be able to comfortably brush and press in simultaneously. The other brush for bathtime is the kind that goes on your palm. I like that it has multiple holes to fit a variety of hand sizes. I personally have very tiny hands so I was pleasantly surprised to find the smallest notch fits fine!
PS: The box is fairly generic and nondescript, so if giving as a gift, you might want to print out a picture from the images to tape on the front so the recipient can quickly tell what it is.

very nice grooming kit
These is a nice grooming set and the purple color is a nice touch. Everything seems to be well made and durable so it all should last long. The big brush is different as in you have to press down on a button for the bristles to come out when you want to use it. This way the bristles don’t get caught on anything or damaged when not in use. It can be tedious to have to press down the button as you’re brushing but this is better to protect the bristles so everything will last longer. Also when you let go of the button, the hairs stay behind as the bristles retract so this is another reason for the button mechanism. the bath brush is strapped onto your palm and can be adjusted. This is a nice grooming kit to maintain a healthy coat for your pets.

Bristles Retract Leaving Hair Behind to Wipe Off – Loose Part Inside Rattles & Scares 1 of My Cats
What a smart mechanism this is. I always dread the daily brush cleaning using a comb or another brush. The hair blows around so easily that it is hard to get it in the waste basket. This brush’s bristles retract with the push of a button, leaving the hair behind on the flat surface. It slides off easily in one piece & stays put in the waste basket. The only downside is that a loose part inside rattles. This scares Ernie the cat. Lizzy loves being brushed with this & is not bothered by the rattle. Made in China

A nice slicker brush, but pretty big for most cats
This is a nice quality slicker brush and my cat loves it, at least along his flanks and back. It’s pretty large to try and use anywhere else! I do like that the tips are covered with little nibs for his comfort, rather than just ending in pokey wire like many slicker brushes have. I was skeptical about the self-cleaning, but it works great. Pop the brush out, brush, and then pop it back in – the fur stays on the outside quite reliably and is easy to remove.
The little add-on for removing fur from clothing works pretty nicely too.
If you’ve got a small cat, this is definitely going to be way too big for them. It’d be great for bigger dogs, and it works okay on large-ish cats.

Great at Removing Hair and Easy to Clean!
This brush was perfect for my cats. Some of them give me a hard time as they don’t like being brushed, but this brush was comfortable enough for them that they all loved it. There is also a button so that you can eject the pet hair out of the brush, which I find really useful for not getting balls of fur all over the place.
Overall a great buy!

This brush may be OK for short haired pets. Bristles too short to brush through hair and, doesn’t detangle well on medium to long hair.
