My cats love it
This is the best litter-box I’ve owned so far for these reasons:-The stainless steel is easy to clean-The high walls prevent any cats from accidentally peeing on the edge of the box-There’s enough room for them to turn around in the box so they don’t end up all peeing in the same spot and creating a huge mass of soaked litterThe litter scoop is not good though. Would rather buy without the scoop, as mine went straight in the trash. The scoop as too small, the slots in it are tiny and it would take a lot of extra time to scoop the box. I bought one of those XL metal wire scoops and there’s no reason to buy any other kind of litter scoop after owning one. The little step that goes in front of the litterbox is fine. It cuts back some on the litter they track out, but I use sawdust litter which already makes that much less of an issue than clay litter.

Great at odor control
It functions great, we got wood pallettes for my cat litter and my cat uses it with no fuss when he has to stay inside. He’s a Turkish Angora, so he can be quite fussy and not to mention a lot of litters stick to his coat and get flung around the house. So I really appreciate the height of this box and the extra tray at the front for him. He’s usually a private pooper, so I think he appreciates the added privacy that the high edges give him.It’s super easy to clean and doesn’t hold any bad smells like plastic ones do. It was well worth spending the extra money on a litter box.

Superior litter box – highly recommend
This is a perfect cat litter box. 5 stars. I will never go back to a covered, plastic litter box after having this one in place for over 3 months. It is very easy to clean; once I’ve scooped, I smooth out the litter so it is obvious when my cat has used the box – when I see disrupted litter, that is my signal to scoop. It takes 2 minutes to scoop, put the clumps into the nearby Litter Genie, and wash my hands. Two minutes and done, compared to a covered litter box that is all too easy to ignore and then becomes a messy, smelly time-consuming chore to clean/dump the whole thing, what a pain. This stainless steel litter box, coupled with my Litter Genie and World’s Best Cat Litter, keeps both my cat and me very happy. Zero odor. None. Ever.The attached high sides prevent litter scatter from the sides of the box – at least in my case, because my cat doesn’t jump over the sides; she uses the “entrance” cutaway and the end of the box. However, I do get some scatter from the box entrance. The “litter catcher” bin that is staged on the floor at the entrance does catch some of the litter scatter from cat-exit, but I still have a bit of litter scatter because my cat jumps out of the box rather than walking over the catch-bin. I don’t consider this a drawback. Scatter depends on the cat litter, and your cat’s “exit style.” (Note – those litter-catcher mats are a pain to clean and not worth the expense and cleaning time; don’t bother. Tried various types. No joy. I prefer simply to keep a little broom and dustpan set at hand near the litter box. It takes only a minute or two to sweep up litter scatter and dispose.)The length and width of this litter box are ideal for a larger cat. My kitty is 14 lbs; she has plenty of room to decide her spot, especially with no “cover” to restrict her. She simply steps into the box, with no crouching or hunching to get in and out, does what she wants to do, and then does a simple exit hop. No fuss. Happy cat.This is a great cat litter box. My cat and I highly recommend it!P.S. This cat litter box + Litter Genie + World’s Best Cat Litter (unscented) = zero odor and a very happy cat.

Perfect for larger cats who tend to make a mess!
My kitty is relatively larger than most cats, which has caused issues with litter boxes in the past. She also has a bad habit of not turning around to pee, so it typically piles up by the entrance. So far none of the clumps have stuck to the litter box, keeping the litter clean and not super smelly. The side wall is just high enough to keep litter from coming out, but low enough for my kitty to jump over the side (which is for some reason her preferred way to exit a litter box). It is also HUGE; Iâve had XL litter boxes in the past, but they still looked cramped for her. This litter box though is extremely spacious for her, and she has no issues moving around in it.Pros:- very spacious- walls are just high enough to prevent messes- wet litter doesnât stick to the bottom- since litter doesnât stick or absorb into the litter box, it doesnât get smelly- high quality with a good price pointCons:- none, my cat and I both love itRating:11/10 âï¸

Only way to block trapped smells
I have suggested this box to many of my friends who have become recent cat owners (I have 5). The quality of the metal holds up well w cats scratching to cover up day in and out. The lid has a little platform that helps you keep litter in the box and also helps tracking. Easy to clean with litter box spray and doesnât retain smells like traditional plastic boxes will. My cat is scared of my fancier self cleaning boxes so this is the best option for her given that and to contain smell. Holds a large amount of litter which is helpful to allow multiple animals to use it without it getting overly dirty quickly.

Good Quality!
Love this litter box! It looks way better and really elevates the space. The litter doesnât get stuck on the box I can easily scoop it up! I like that it comes with a little step that traps litter you just pop the lid off. I also like the lid and how thereâs slits right where they step in, that extra litter can just fall right back in there. Forgive the messy area, writing the review before I forget to! It looks so cozy when itâs clean.

I canât tell you the countless times Iâve tried âXL, largeâ litter boxes that were in fact not large at all. They are tiny and not useful but this stainless steel one is actually LARGE and great quality. I had been iffy about the cost as it definitely isnât a cheap litter box but there were a couple really helpful reviews on here I read that helped me take the chance so Iâm hoping my review will do the same for someone else! Itâs definitely worth the money! Itâs big, clean, sleek looking and is exactly as advertised. My little cat thatâs inside the new litter box fit fine in the old one but my tabby is growing crazily and needs something bigger and this is perfect. Itâs my first stainless steel litter box as well and is easy to cleans and isnât as smelly as plastic. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks!

Loved the size and how big the sides are. A couple of our cats can be a bit messy when covering up, and with other litter trays it could go everywhere. Not with this one though. All kept inside. Brilliant.

2 months ago I started searching online for a new litter box because I was tired of the mess and smell of my existing box. At that time I came across stainless steel litter boxes and read the glowing reviews. But I’m always cheap so I decided they were to pricey and instead bought a cheaper plastic litter box that had a top and the box part pulled out like a drawer for easier scooping. Big mistake! that drawer was shallow and cat urine was leaking out all over the place. My kitty litter box dilemma went from bad to horrible.I simply could not continue to use that box so 2 weeks later I decided to go ahead and buy this stainless steel box. I cannot believe the difference! This is best litter box I’ve ever had. My stupid cat stands at the front of the box with her paws on the side and pees in almost the same spot every time she uses the box. In the past this resulted in urine soaking the sides and bottom of the box. No matter how high quality the clumping litter was it never clumped properly. The clumps were always wet and just fell apart when I would scoop and the smell was atrocious. My cat has not changed her habits. She still pees in the front of the box, in the same spot, standing with her paws on the side but now I find nice small hard compact clumps that scoop out easily and there is virtually no odor.I cannot stress enough how remarkable the stainless steel litter box is. Every cat owner needs to get one. It will make the whole ordeal of dealing with cat litter almost pleasant. I will NEVER get another plastic box. This was worth every cent.
