This little comb works great on our short haired dog. I am using it more as a comb than flea and tick remover/finder. It grabs all the shedding hair I run it through.

Great for shorter-haired dogs
The wire comb works great on our dog with shorter and straighter hair. It is too hard to pull through our dog with longer, curlier hair. We tried using the white plastic comb on him but it seemed the brush we have been using with similar spacing does a better job on him.

I wanted to like it
I’ve been using it for a few days now, and while it’s fine for flea dust, it doesn’t catch many fleas. I just watched three or four slide between the teeth disappear back into my kittens fur.Stars for novelty, but not functionality.

My dog’s hair is really too short for this, but it gets the larger fleas. He likes a plastic comb better.
